I want to Thank the handlers and dogs who visited the 2nd grade classrooms this AM. Lorrie Raymond with Rodney (Curly Coated Retriever), Bob Morris and his wife with Zeus (Yorkie) and Avella (Havanese), Robin Bowdish with Bruno (Golden Retriever) and Kay Moore with Homer (Golden Retriever). The students were able to see, read to, and pet some of the breeds that they had not seen before. After talking to one young fellow he told me he also had a dog. I said Oh, what kind do you have and he replied "Regular".

I just wanted to thank all the handlers and their dogs who came out Fri evening for the 3rd Friday UPTOWN CADIZ Event. We had Karacel & Dean with Australian Cattle Dogs, Kay and a Golden, Jane & a beagle, Nancy & Melissa with 2 Havanese, Donna & Yo with Aussies, Ann with an English Fox Hound, (one lady thought it was the biggest beagle she had ever seen, and Mark with a wagon full of baby chihuahuas. All dogs were very well behaved which can be attributed to their dedicated owners.

Correction, the Tacos & Tunnel event was rescheduled to Fri October 4.

Due to this week's predicted heat wave the Fri. Tacos & Tunnels has been rescheduled to Fri Oct 3. No air conditioning in our training room.
