We need all the help we can get this week. We can do early morning, afternoon, evening helpers.

Every day this week, any time you can help!

We are trying to prepare for our garage sale event this Friday and Saturday as much ahead of time as possible!

All while also dealing with the renovations mess
1. Cat chores

2. Laundry & dishes for cat chore volunteers

3. Deep cleaning the rescue & helping organize & tidy up.

4. Heavy lifters to help move everything to the garage & attic.

5. Anyone who wants to make the merch for the event. - keychains, jewelry, etc.

6. We are having tacos, nachos, cold drinks, possibly slushies, hot dogs, & desserts for the event. So we need donations and volunteers to make / bring any of the following! I’m trying to get coffee donations for all the volunteers also.

7. We are still taking garage sale donations. September 3rd is the final day to donate!

All food should be delivered on 9/3/2026 as well.

🎉 We need volunteers on 9/3 as well to help set the canopy’s & tables up!

We are desperate for some guys to help us move the rest of the heavy stuff before our event this weekend. The guy who has been helping keeps canceling on me last minute and we’re running out of time.

3 of us girls did everything we could but the rest, definitely requires strong people!

We are looking for volunteers to make/donate individually packaged pastries/desserts for our event next Friday!

Anything not individually packaged is okay, we can do that part!

This will be to sell & to feed volunteers🤞

Any chance someone can pick up a stove for us about 18 mins away from the rescue?

Pick up near saxonburg & drop off in butler!

This is the final thing needed to complete the kitchen! And many volunteers are here literally all day long. Plus I’d like it before our event!

We are all seriously so anxious to have the rescue fully functional so we really need the help!

Sign up positions from 9/2-9/5 (Preparing for event & doing the event.)

These are all the positions that will make it go smoothly. I know it’s unrealistic to get this many people but I don’t want anyone having to do a position by themselves if we don’t have too. At least two people per position is best.

I am practically begging, if you have any free time and a desire to help us, volunteering for this event is a great way to do that!

We need help the 2nd & 3rd to prepare for the event and get the chores done.

Then the 4th & 5th need help getting chores done, preparing for sale, meet & greeters for the cats, and then help with tear down.

Please do not sign up if you can’t guarantee you’ll be there.

If you’re allergic to cats or don’t want to hang with the cats, helping with the sale part is a great position for you!

If you have a strong boyfriend or husband, bring him with you! We will feed the husbands too!😆

There’s literally all kinds of things. I can almost guarantee you and your family will find goodies!

We are finally getting the first floor doors hung, which means the bathroom upstairs will be officially operable.

And we are getting our countertop sink and dishwasher for the kitchen I’m not sure the dishwasher works. My boyfriend. Got it Donated from someone we have to get the waterlines hooked up for the sink and dishwasher.

Which means we have to get everything out of the kitchen asap.

If anyone has extra time today or tomorrow to stop over and help organize or at least get the chores done so I can get this done

Our contractor cannot even really get measurements until he can get to rhe cupboards.

I’m really trying to get everything set up and ready to go for the event and I wanted to look as nice as possible so we’re getting things cleaned up.

So far we have 5-6,000$ in medications, medical supplies, testing, & treatments.

THIS MONTH!

Being stressed is not even slightly an explanation.

This is only our medical category of spending. We have literally so much basic supplies we have to order too🥹 and many more bills we need to pay & we need to order more medical things.

We still need the following basic necessities we are out of or about to be out of, like:

paper towels / napkins, trash bags (13g & 30g,) paper boats, plastic spoons, gentle purina adult dry food, 24x24, xl & xs p*e pads, dry cat treats, spray bottles, nitrle gloves sizes M & L, pellet litter (horse bedding pellets from tractor supply) bleach, laundry detergent, pursteam steam mop pads, 6ft folding white tables (as many as we can get, disposable shoe covers, and I know there’s more but I can’t think of everything at the moment.

If you’d like to donate gift cards, Amazon, chewy, Temu, tractor supply is where we would primarily get everything.

I try to coupon and search for the cheapest prices overall for everything.

We also have to prepare for our garage sale event so I can use all the extra help possible these next two weeks to cover cat chores and preparing for this event!

If anyone has time or funds to make a variety of logo T shirts for our event we’d like the volunteers to wear them & we’d like to sell them! Or any other logo supplies if you’re crafty!

We will be making an online purchase site for our merch after the event is over! So if you don’t make it to the event you’ll still have the option to shop online and support the kitties!

As far as the event, the donations we’re accepting, the flyer will be put out soon.

We desperately need a few tent canopy’s, as many 6 foot folding tables as we can get, and people to make signs advertising it to the streets!

I’m hoping this is a big event that helps fund these kiddos so we can get every bill paid up and kitties adopted so we can start fresh with a new round of intakes once we are ready for them!
