***SHORT STORY TIME***

I get a good hand full of bucks in the shop each year. Each one comes with a story to be told. This year was alittle different then previous years with the amount of injuries some of the bucks sufficed prior to being harvested or succumbed to their own demise. This buck had been put to battle with another buck and having its opponents tine blow straight through the bone on its upper cheek. I can never imagine the immense pain that this buck went through having that event happen to him. Like this guy I've seen multiple facial fractures just like this guy has even a buck that was shot in the face with a turkey load. These animals are some of the toughest beings to walk our woods and to go through all of that and more and keep going. It's a thing of its own and something to think about the next time your in the woods. Have a great weekend everyone!
