Wow! Getting these 3 new kennels added to our dog room has been an adventure, to say the least! 😅 We still have a few things to finish before we take our new website photos of the updated room… but I’m definitely not patient enough to wait to share!

We now have 7 premium kennels! 🎉🐾

This decision came with a lot of thought and a lot of prayer. Staying small enough to provide high-quality, hands-on care is incredibly important to us.

Ultimately, we decided that 7 kennels is the right number for FPCC. It allows us to serve more families while still giving each dog the time, attention, and involvement they deserve while they’re here.

We are SO excited about this next step for Five Point Canine Campus! 💙🐾

Edited to add: Why do we make posts like this? Because the more people we talk to, the more we realize that a lot of people in the area have a misconception of what goes on at a boarding facility like ours. We hope that these posts give a better idea of what the day to day looks like at FPCC!

We love our large kennels and so do most dogs!

But sometimes we get dogs that want a smaller, darker "safe zone" while they are here.

When I say we pay attention, watch the cameras to get a real idea of how they feel, and give care that is appropriate for each animal, this is what I mean.

We adjusted this little guys kennel to make him feel a little more at peace 💙

Q: WHY do I have to make a specific appointment time between 5-7 instead of just showing up at some point between 5-7?

A: This is our home and the safety of our children is our #1 priority in life 🙂 we like to know who is pulling in our driveway and why they are here. Before a drop off/pick up we also make sure our personal dogs are put away, our children are away from the driveway, and our client dogs are put away.

Q: What if my appointment is at 5:30 but I'm running 15 minutes late?

A: Text us! Please! We will utilize those 15 minutes instead of waiting around.

Q: Couldn't you just go about your normal duties and then stop what you're doing when someone arrives?

A: No. We respect your time! Getting around for vacation is a hassle, most of the time our customers want to drop their dogs off and head out. This is a 5 minute ordeal at max. We like to be ready when they are here to make it quick and smooth. And again, this is our home. If I'm in the middle of spending quality time with my kiddos and unexpectedly get up to meet with a customer, it is inaccurately showing them where they fall on my list of priorities.
