It’s that time of year, now, that I won’t be as available as I was. School is back in session and that means I’m back at work also. Please be patient. Please understand I can’t meet whenever anymore. I will be as understanding as possible with your time so please do the same for me. Evenings and Saturday pick ups ONLY! I will NOT do Sunday pick ups as, now, that is 100% our family days as we won’t hardly get to be together as a family during the week. I will want to use transport more (for long distances) and I absolutely WILL NOT meet anyone past my two towns (Waterloo and Butler, IN).

With that being said, check out the albums of who we have left! I may let a Polish buck go and I have a Blue Dutch buck available. Let me know!

Thank you all for being amazing followers! Couldn’t do it without you guys!

Last Dutch I have for a long while until WAY after fair. I picked him out of the whole Dutch litter as the best one. But I’m not keeping him. To many bucks as it is.

None of you have been able to see these little beauties because they’ve been very…………spicy……if that’s the best word to use lol. Chestnut who refuses to come out, Black Otter who is somewhat exploring, and a BEAUTIFUL Broken Black Otter! In the litter of two they’re both boys, but can you believe it? This litter of three are all girls!! Hazaah! My middle son has decided he will let both Chestnut babies go and the Broken Lilac Otter baby as well. The otter girls may be staying depending on how the fair goes. I wouldn’t mind getting the Broken Lilac Otter baby on the table at least once but not sure when that will be. The Broken Black Otter girl has a natural pose to her like her daddy, Hamish. Hamish wants to just pose for himself and NOT be touched in the process lol! 😝 She is turning out to be the same way! 😂🤣 I have the posing table up against their cage to practice just being out of their cage 🫣🥴let alone being touched to pose. The Chestnut doe is going to be challenging. 😰 these litters have proven how hard we’ve worked to get this far! My 7 year old seems to have their interest too. 🤪lucky him.

"Red Barn's Black Coal" brought home a leg from Coldwater, MI! This little sucker got lucky because I was going to send him somewhere else! But something told me to take him anyways. He brought home a junior leg! I couldn't be more happy and I am seriously, partially, in tears.

Here's why: We haven't shown for that long but in that process we have had a lot of ups and downs and people that have wanted us to fail. I have been told a lot of misinformation, a lot of lies, or just pure drama that we don't need. Something shifted and, now, we (along with myself and my own breed), are getting a lot more help, a lot better community, and a lot more relief and FUN! This hobby I started YEARS ago but only for the past 8 years we've been showing in ARBA. But, about 3 years back, I started losing my motivation for it because of the situations I was in. I had people selling us the wrong colored eyes on Flemish, horrible bodied rabbits that I was told were good show rabbits, and so much more, only to find out my time and $ was wasted because I trusted people to be honest and help. Through all of this, I learned a lot and am doing my best to help my kids progress along with myself. I think we're finally getting BACK on the right track after being thrown off by so many different things. I flat out admit, I was barn blind for a bit. That's completely on me! But after what all has gone on, I'm no longer blind. I'm also going to try to work on replacing EVERY SINGLE CAGE IN THIS BARN before winter (except my 8 hole, 12 hole, 30x30 litter pens, and two 3 stacks that are my sons Brit cages). None of them match, the doors don't all open the same, the dishes aren't in the same way and I'm honestly sick of it. The legs and trays I'll keep (nothing wrong with those) but I am going to be replacing the cages themselves.

That being said, I will probably have some cages for sale before to long. Nothing wrong with them except they all need a good hose down, but I just want consistancy.

Anyways! I want to thank those that have helped! The new Polish family! Also, to Red Barn, thank you for trusting me to take over this little breed! I hope I'm doing them justice! Friends of mine that I've known that have been honest but kind (you know who you are)! The Brit people that have been AMAZING in getting my son started in the right direction! He's killing it with them! Thank you! Sincerly! You have no idea! I have wanted to just completely get out of all of this because of the drama and lack of motivation that I've had because of that drama that has brought me down! A Polish person told me, though, "No, drama here! Just fun or you're out!" Thank you! I need that!

To all of our followers, THANK YOU! We couldn't do it without you!

Sincerly,
Hankey Farms' Kritters and Friends (Kara (Polish), Hans (Brits), and Dean Hankey (Dutch)/Damion Evans(Dutch))
