We have received a request for help from a community member who was displaced by Helene. She has two cats and has been living with a relative since the storm, as the bridge to her house is still out. Her living circumstances have changed and she is no longer able to keep her cats with her. She has been told that she should be able to go back to her home in July. Is there anyone out there who would be willing help out by fostering her cats for a couple of months until she can move back home? If so, please contact Sherry directly at 828-779-1895. To answer some questions about our drive thru clinic on June 14th...

This will be DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Parvo) only. No rabies will be given on that day and no cat vaccines. This is a quick hit to target parvo out in the county since the storm. There will be no fee and no papers to fill out. We will give you a flyer that will say your dog had a vaccine and give you information about the next clinic.

The next clinic will be on July 12 and it will be a full clinic with microchipping available. It will be the last free clinic of the year, most likely. If you had a dog vaccinated at the drive-thru and want to have the booster this is when that will happen. If you have any questions ask here or give us a call!
