The yellow lab in these pictures, Jessie, was adopted from us several years ago and today he came back with his mamas to find a new brother. He chose Jeffrey. Jeffrey is so excited to be going to a new home and Jesse is excited to have a brother!

🐾 Meet Charlie! 🐾
Charlie is an 11-week-old Labradoodle who’s as sweet as he is playful! This little guy is full of energy, love, and personality — the perfect mix of fun and affection. He’s always ready for a game, a walk, or a cuddle (once he’s tired himself out, of course!).

Labradoodles are wonderful dogs, but they are not low-maintenance — please do your research before reaching out. This breed requires daily exercise, mental stimulation, and regular grooming to keep their coats healthy and mat-free. Charlie will need consistent brushing at home and professional grooming every few weeks.

Because of his energy level, a fenced-in yard is a big plus! Leash walks alone won’t be enough to help this boy burn off all his puppy energy — he’ll thrive with space to run and play safely.

Charlie’s adoption fee is $525, as he is one of our Hero Dogs. His higher fee helps support the many other animals in our care — especially those who take longer to find their forever homes. Before anyone worries about the fee, please remember that every other animal this month has had no adoption fee. Amazing dogs like Charlie help make that possible!

🧡 Things can get pretty crazy around here, and sometimes we forget to pause and thank the people who keep everything running smoothly! A HUGE thank you to our amazing kennel techs and the entire team who help make sure everything falls into place each and every day.

We took a little time to slow down with a pumpkin carving, pizza, and sweets get-together 🎃🍕🍪 — and it was so needed! It’s not often we get a chance to just chat, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company.

We even have 1st and 2nd place boo baskets for the best pumpkins 👻🎃

🐾 Meet Chloe – Looking for Her Furever Home! 🐾

This sweet girl is Chloe. Due to circumstances not related to her, she has found herself in need of a new family to love and protect. She is currently with my own family and waiting patiently meet you! ❤️

She is an absolute sweetheart who loves kids and thrives in a family environment. She does well with most dogs once properly introduced and enjoys having furry friends to play with.

She can be a little protective of her humans, especially her little humans, which just means she’ll always have your back. 🐕💪 With a patient and loving home, she’ll continue to be the loyal companion we know she is.

Update! Sweet Bunny has found a new "hutch" in Black Mountain!

🐰 Meet Bunny Rabbit! 🐰

To say Bunny Rabbit has stolen our hearts would be an understatement — this goofy hound girl has us wrapped around her paw! 💕

Bunny Rabbit is about a year old and is one of the sweetest, silliest, most affectionate pups we’ve had the privilege of meeting. She’s playful, loves other dogs, and always manages to make us laugh with her big personality and even bigger heart.

Now, let’s be honest — she’s all hound! That nose of hers is basically the boss. 😅 She walks great… as long as you were planning to go exactly where she wants to sniff! Because of that, she’ll need a stronger handler and a secure fence, since her nose tends to lead the way (and sometimes the wrong way).

She’d be over the moon to have another dog in her forever home — a buddy to romp around and share adventures with.

Bunny Rabbit came to us as a stray and, like many of our sweet pups, was never reclaimed. Their loss, truly — because this girl is something special. She’ll fill your home with laughter, love, and that signature goofy hound charm. 💜

Our sweet Honeygold is everything her name promises — gentle, golden, and full of quiet warmth. This lovely senior hound girl is the picture of mellow. She’s the type to spend her afternoons napping in the sun, tail thumping softly every time you walk by.

Honeygold isn’t looking for much — just a cozy home, a comfy couch, and a sunny porch to call her own. She’s the kind of southern lady who takes life one slow wag at a time — sweet as cornbread and calm as a summer evening.

She’d love a quiet home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by love and peace. Her adoption fee is waived, along with all our other animals, so all she’s really waiting on is you.

💜 Meet Pepper! 💜

This gorgeous senior Boxer mix is as sweet as they come! Pepper is around 6 years old and came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about her past — but what we do know is that she’s definitely been loved. She’s gentle, social, and has the sweetest soul!

Pepper is mellow, goofy, and an absolute cuddle bug. She adores slow chews, cozy blankets, and most of all… people! She hasn’t met a stranger yet — everyone is her new best friend. 🥰

She seems to do well with other dogs, though we always recommend a meet and greet at our facility to make sure it’s a perfect match.

Pepper walks beautifully on leash, is already spayed, and is just patiently waiting for her forever home where she can spend her days surrounded by love and comfort.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will fill your home with warmth and smiles, Pepper’s your girl! 💕
