Across America Boxer Rescue

Across America Boxer Rescue "Rescuing Without Borders" Our Rescue is an all volunteer effort to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted and abandoned Boxer dogs.

When Boxers are in need, Across America Boxer Rescue's dedicated volunteers respond. Our mission includes hands-on rescue, as well as education. Our rescue is dedicated in helping as many Boxers that have had a very "ruff" start for whatever reason. All Boxers that come into our rescue will be examined by our vet, brought up to date on vaccines, heart worm tested, (placed on heart worm preventive

medication) and fecal tested, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We will evaluate each Boxer's personality and temperament, so they can be placed in the best home suited for them. If you are interested in adopting, please submit our online adoption application for review and processing.

What is better than one Boxer? Two Boxers! Or.....two Boxer mixes!! Or.....a Boxer and a Boxer/Pug mix!!! We have them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the first time ever....we have THREE bonded pairs in the rescue. Two of the pairs are looking for their forever home and one pair is looking for their forever home, forever foster home or a long term (until adopted) foster home.

Ready to find their new family:

Ladybug & Leo...currently fostered in the Cleveland, OH area. They were left behind when their owner moved out of state. Fully vetted and full of fun!!! Foster mom & dad are also looking for a dogsitter for them while they are on vacation from 7/31- 8/16.

Lenny & Layla...currently fostered near Peoria, IL. Lenny was an owner surrender when his owner passed away and Layla came to us as an owner surrender (from a different family) with her five siblings. These two LOVE each other and it seems like they have known each other their whole lives

5/26 UPDATE FROM DR R....some good things but also back to not what we wanted to hear.....Esme has gained some weight, right at 1 # total so far, which is good for 6 days. She remains energetic and happy and has been eating well. She had really bad bloody loose stool over the weekend 🙁 The "mass" like area remains palpable with no obvious change. This morning she was running a mild fever at 103*. I think as we discussed, she is shaping up to need exploratory surgery, especially with the fever. I have a spot reserved on our schedule for her for tomorrow if you are okay with proceeding forward with surgery to get in there and see what everything looks like.

We have agreed to surgery tomorrow. Please, please keep the love and prayers coming and please donate if you can. And thank you all for the amazing donations so far
