Today marks 9 years at Cedar Grove Farm, which is honestly crazy to even type.

So much has changed since we started. Horses have come and gone, people have come into our lives and become family, plans have changed about a hundred times, and somehow this little farm just keeps growing and evolving right along with us.

There have definitely been some hard years mixed in with the good ones, but I wouldn’t trade the life we’ve built here. Cedar Grove has given me friendships, opportunities, memories, and eventually even led me down the path of starting Cedar Grove Equine Wellness.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of these last 9 years — boarders, clients, friends, professionals, and everyone who has supported us along the way.

A special shoutout to Emily, my adopted farm daughter, who has been along for so much of the craziness and growth over the years. I’m incredibly proud of everything she’s accomplished and so grateful Cedar Grove brought her into my life. ❤️

And of course, a big thank you to Nick for continuing to put up with all of my horses, ideas, projects, and general chaos… and somehow still not running for the hills. 😂

✨ Reiki + Equine Wellness ✨

I know, I know… Reiki sounds a little weird. 😂 And honestly? It still weirds me out sometimes too.

But I can’t ignore the level of calmness I see it bring to some horses.

I’ve started incorporating Reiki into my massage, MagnaWave PEMF, and other therapy sessions when I feel like a horse could benefit from it. Sometimes it’s just a few quiet minutes while I’m working, but watching a horse soften, relax, breathe deeper, lick, chew, or simply settle is pretty cool.

Do I completely understand it? Nope. 😂 But I’ve learned that not every horse needs the exact same approach, and I’m always open to adding another tool to my toolbox when it seems to help them relax.

At the end of the day, my goal is pretty simple — meet the horse where they are and help them feel their best
