While we were on vacation the National Jersey Wooly sweepstakes 2024-2025 year ended and they released the final standings.
My goal last year was top 10(which I accomplished) and this year it was top 5! I am so thrilled with the standings this year!!

🥉3rd White Wool
🥈2nd Colored Wool
A very proud moment is that Shasta, who is a homegrown was 2nd for rabbit of the year by only 1 point!! Even with her not always being in the best coat.
I also had another homegrown fairly far up on that list… DJ had a tie for 6th place rabbit of the year!!
It makes me very happy when my hard work breeding pays off and my homegrown rabbits are acknowledged like this!
I also want to congratulate all the other exhibitors on their winnings! I’m so proud of our Missouri jw gang!

My first full day home in two weeks! Got to play with babies and look at some very promising juniors!
OEF is this weekend so I also began preparing buns for that! Almost done grooming and tattooing! Come see us Friday-Sunday at the fair!

I failed to get many pictures but am so glad many long distance friends came! Congrats to Carissa and Colson on all their wins! And thanks to our judge Chase Walbourn!

Cattle:
Both bulls were 2nd in their classes. Got to leave within 40 minutes which was a new record! Didn’t stay for the heifer show so I could go work at the snow shack.

Well I have been busy at the Missouri’s HYPE academy and immediately came home to go to the Dallas county fair rabbit show. But I came home to some very exciting things! Including coming to 4 new Jw babies! Plus a very good time and outcome at the show but I’ll wait to post that later 😉

I am overran by babies so I have a bunch I need to rehome! Jersey Woolies, Havanas, Mini Lops, and Holland Lops! Message me if there’s something in particular you’re looking for and I might be willing to let go of something else too!

Jersey Woolies: I have 4 junior bucks. Chestnut, broken chestnut, and a fawn.
Havanas: I have a black junior buck and a broken black senior doe.
Mini lops: 2 chestnut bucks and 1 chestnut doe.
Holland Lops: 1 broken junior buck, 3 solid junior bucks, and 1 broken junior doe.
