I finally am making this post as I have had time to let my emotions run their courses… for those that already knew thank you for the prayers and continued support, I truly appreciate it.

2 weeks ago I lost some of the hugest parts of my rabbit operation. My jersey woolies mean so much to me. Due to an error with and air conditioning system 8 of my wonderful babies were in almost 120 degrees and unfortunately did not make it through the night. It was rough for me to immediately go to MO FFA camp after this, but I wanted to give 100% to the FFA members, and that’s what I did.

DJ, Shasta, MaiTai, JJ, and 3 MaiTai Juniors will be greatly missed.
DJ - Broken Buck that was 3rd at convention and won my first ever ARBA RIS was by far the best buck I have ever raised. Many people knew him, he had personality and beauty in one. Thank you for being a favorite since the beginning!! 🤎
Shasta - Orange doe that was BOG AOV at convention 2024, which was my first convention win. The best orange I have ever had and one of the best bodied does ever in my barn. She was 2nd place rabbit of the year by 1 point last year. Thank you for everything you gave and taught me. 🧡
MaiTai - You were an awesome doe that didn’t get enough credit. You were and amazing mother and if only you didn’t get nervous on a show table I think you would’ve done sooo much better. Thank you!! 🖤
Jaklynn Junior(JJ) - Most of you know her story when I lost her mom. She hadn’t been on show tables lately because I was trying to get a liter of babies from her. But this doe was BOSG as a JUNIOR at Nationals last year, this was my first big win at nationals. 💜
*I did not have names for the juniors but they were almost to the age of hitting show tables and would’ve been a force to compete with.*

Well that was a busy week!! Spent the week at MO FFA camp with students from across the state and then got home to immed...

Well that was a busy week!! Spent the week at MO FFA camp with students from across the state and then got home to immediately leave for a sheep show and didn’t get home until after 1 am.

Another weekend, another sheep show! This was our biggest show yet! We had a fun but very long day at the Republic FFA Livestock Expo!! 💕
Started the day strong with showmanship! I love Lemon and our connection, we were able to pick up GRAND CHAMPION Senior Showman!!🎉🎉

The highlight of the day was winning reserve in show with a 5month old homegrown Havana named Skye!! 🏆 Skye, Marshall, Rubble, and Zuma is a liter of siblings I love so much. So excited to see where these juniors go!!

Havana nationals weekend is a wrap and we’re on the road home!! No big wins but still very proud of my placings!

National Show - Goal was 1 top 3 placing
Took 12 rabbits and 10 placed in top 10. 7 placed top 5. I see that as an achievement for a national show!!

Busy day yesterday! Couldn’t convince mom to drive to Ohio for JW nationals but did get her to go to trailblazers show with some of my buns while I was at MO State FFA Officer Interviews.
I just sent Havanas, no JW. First show I’ve ever done that!! I had her show them in open and was pleased with my results!
