The first thing I can say is WOW! Thank you to everyone in my rabbit family for all your help throughout the week.
This was my last state fair as a youth and most likely my last time showing rabbits at the state fair entirely. It couldn’t have gone any better. I definitely went out with a bang!

Skye was on a roll this weekend. This doe continues to impress me each day. She’s been to 4 shows the past two months and has been BOB 4/4, Best 4 class 3/4, and Best in Show 2/4 times. I couldn’t be happier with my wins throughout the week!

🎉Cherry on top was showmanship… I was in the 18+ age group that was very competitive! I was so excited to be the Grand Champion showman for my division coming home with another buckle!!🎉
⭐️I was also 3rd place in the patriotic display and herdsmanship contest!⭐️

I already rehomed a lot of my Havanas privately but I still have a few breeding ones left! I leave for college on the 20th so they need gone!
I will have more available mostly juniors in 1 month, after weaning!

Blacks-
1. Avner - black Senior Buck. Morrisons buck. Sire to DBF’s Fred. He has sired really nice baked they just mature late. He’s short and well rounded with a good HQ, he’s starting a molt(line around his back). DOB 10/29/2021. He came to me with 3 GC Legs but he has what judges always call 2 broken toes, one on each front foot. My mom thinks they’re not, it’s middle on both fronts.
2. Blind Date - Black Senior Doe. DOB 6/24/2024. She’s had two liters for me. I’m keeping her sister who was 3rd place broken senior doe at nationals and her brother who has done a lot of winning for me. This doe has an attitude and never wants to pose good. She’s small.

Brokens-
1. Jagger - Broken Blue Senior Buck. DOB 2/28/2023. He has 2 GC Legs. He sired some really nice and “typey” babies when bred to a shorter doe. He’s wide but longer. Not that head matters much but I love his wide head and ears. He’s been used for FFA petting zoo a few years, he has a great personality. He didn’t want to pose for pictures today.
2. Georgie - Broken Black Senior Doe. DOB 5/21/2025. I’ve only shown her once which was Carthage show and she was 2nd to Skye both times. She didn’t want to do pictures today and I promise she’s nicer the the pics make her look. She’s got a beautiful HQ. She has width but needs depth of the shoulder. She’s a bit longer and bigger bodied.
3. Brooks - Broken Black Junior Doe. DOB 3/22/2026. She still needs to mature but I just had so many other brown black does I want to keep so she can move from a grow out hole.

Chocolates-
1. Igor - Chocolate Senior Buck. Has 1-2 GC Legs. He was 3rd place at nationals and 2nd place in the all breed double. This guy is short and round while also carrying a decent width. He had great babies, I am keeping some so he can move on.
2. Princess - Chocolate Senior Doe. She’s a brood doe although she does have 1 BOSB leg from the one time I showed her.

I’ll make a deal if you take a pair, trio, or them ALL!!

Wow I’m leaving for college in a month! Crazy! It’s time to start downsizing the Rabbitry. I’ll start with the holland lops! All pedigreed and ready to go! 3 does and 1 buck. I’d make a deal for all.

1. SOLD!! TF’s Jelly - Black Tort Senior doe. 3 years old. She’s a big girl, most likely over weight. She’s WIDE. I wish she had more bone. As a junior she took two BOB at fairs and one time she was Reserve in Show. She’s an awesome mother and has large liters. She has a great personality and is a a favorite of ours but I’m keeping her daughter. She also fostered a Havana in her last liter. She is the dam to my 2 best HL.

2. SOLD!! Seal’s Callie - Black/orange tri senior doe. 4 years old old brood doe. She’s so easy to get bred and is an excellent mother. She just got weaned from a liter a couple weeks ago. I got her for the “fun” colors. She’s had tri colored, Harliquein, and otters.

3. SOLD!! Opsie - Black Fox Senior doe. DOB: 10/16/24. She was also just weaned from a liter but It was her first. She’s starting a molt. Her son was BOSB at Dallas county fair and daughters did good too.

4. TF’s Klondike - Broken black tort senior buck. DOB: 3/25/25. I LOVE this buck, it’s hard to let him go but I am going to keep his sister and dad. He has a great personality. I have never shown him but thought about it a couple times. He’s a small and typey buck. He’s in a horrible molt right now lol.

I had so much fun at the Texas County Fair! Thank you to my extended family for letting me stay with them! The Enfield family really made the long trip worth it!💕
This was one of the larger shows I’ve been to with the sheep besides Republic FFA Show. I was definitely intimidated by competition and class numbers. I only took 3 ewes. But I am SOOO happy with my results. This was my first time pulling the new trailer alone and went 131 miles… making it there and back in one piece is a success!! Sad my mom didn’t experience it with me but happy I got to do it all with Traci, Alex, Colson, Aspen, Robert, and so many more!!

I had an awesome time at the Laclede County Fair. It was my first overnight fair and first time going to a sheep show solo!! Thanks to Chloe for coming over to help me show, I couldn’t have done it without you!! And thank to my dad and grandma that came for show time to help hold animals ringside and be my moral support.
