Vaccines puppies need: Year 1
Vaccines are required for your puppy at weeks 6, 12, and 16.
the core vaccines include:
-Distemper
-Hepatitis
-Leptospirosis
-Parvo
-Parainfluenza
The two most important vaccines for a puppy are the rabies vaccine and the DAPP vaccine.

Grooming your puppy:
-1st grooming session should be at the 10-12 week mark.
-Brush their coat with a soft-bristled brush.
-Gently brush their face face with your fingers.
-A tired puppy will be more likely to settle into the grooming routine, so play with them for 10-15 minutes.
-When you are brushing your puppies teeth make sure you use the correct toothpaste.
-Never use human toothpaste on your pet.
-When bathing your puppy use lukewarm water and specially formulated shampoo.
-Try to keep the soap away from their eyes ears and nose.

Some basics for the first night with your puppy:
- Decide where the puppy will sleep.
- Make their crate comfortable.
- Put some toys and blankets in the crate.
- Let your puppy out throughout the night.
- Puppy proof your house.
- Wear your puppy out, so they are tired.
- Make sure the puppy is near your bed or sleeping in the same room as you.
- Don't ignore the cries of your puppy, especially their first few nights.

Some basics for the first day with your puppy:
1. Set a routine.
2. Taking a blanket from their previous home could make them feel comfortable.
3. Show them their space, which should be away from the rest of the house.
4. It is important for everyone in the household to be on the same page for training.
5. Start potty training them right away. take your puppy to use the bathroom every 30 minutes.
6. Give your puppy plenty of time to settle in before inviting your friends and family over to meet them!
