Congratulations to all of our riders for a great three weeks of showing in Katy! 👏 We had a great turnout and it’s always great to see everyone riding so well and having fun together. Horse show highlights include:

Harvest Horse Show 🌾
Champion- Carige and Wesley Whitworth in the 3’3” Junior Hunter 🏆
Reserve Champion- Memphis Belle and Eloise Casey in the Limit Hunter. Eloise also won the Limit Equitation Over Fences and Flat 🙌
Wesley Whitworth and Kitt Kahn were first in the THIS Medal 🥇
Josephine Hodson and Peanut Butter Falcon won the 3’3” Junior Hunter Handy and the 3’3” Warm-Up 🥇

Autumn Classic 🍁
Champions- Katherine Dixon’s Speakeasy was Champion in the Limit Hunter Division and the GSEC 2’9” Hunter 🏆
Reserve Champion Zone 7 and Reserve Champion in the Division- Carige and Wesley Whitworth 3’3” Small Junior Hunter 🙌
Reserve Champion Zone 7 and Reserve Champion in the Division- Avery Reid riding Fleetwood VDL in the Junior Equitation 15-17 🙌
Best Young Pony- KP Dapper Dan, owned and presented by Amy Gangstad 🏆
Katherine Dixon, Quinn Walker and Eloise Casey swept the top 3 placing in the Limit Equitation on the Flat 🥇🥈🥉
Cate Castelluccio and Nadal Z were 2nd in the 3’3” Jumpseat Medal 🥈
Crime Time 6 and Carlysle Drosos had one time penalty in the Great Southwest Grand Prix (American) to finish 5th 💥

Final Chase 🌟
Champions- Avery Reid and Fleetwood VDL swept the Junior Equitation 15-17 to finish Champion and Carlysle Drosos rode Sainted to the win in the 2’ USHJA Hunter Division 🏆
Reserve Champions- Berlinka and Quinn Walker were Reserve Champion in the Limit Hunter and Flashy and Scarlett Bellm were fast and clean in the Modified Children’s Jumper with a win in the power and speed and Reserve Champion in the division. 🙌
Wesley Whitworth and Kitt Kahn won the 3’3” Jumpseat Medal 🥇
Nadal Z and Cate Castelluccio were 2nd in a large Junior Hunter Classic field 🥈

Huge congrats to Avery Reid on finishing her junior career with a clean sweep of the age group Equitation at Final Chase yesterday! 🏆 We aren’t a bit surprised to see you go out on top and can’t wait to watch you grow as an adult amateur. 🤍

Monarch had such a fun time at Monster Mash at Great Southwest Equestrian Center! 🎃

Some highlights from last weekend:

✨ India and Gatsby had a fantastic first show together, earning 2nd place in a huge class! 🥈
✨ Teddy took home two 1sts in the pole division, finishing Reserve Champion. 🏆
✨ Katherine and Easy made their Limit debut and won an over fences! 🥇
✨ Quinn won the Limit Eq Flat. 🥇
✨ And in the hobby horse race, our crew swept the top—1st, 2nd, and 3rd out of 20+ riders! 🥇🥈🥉
As always we look forward to next year’s festivities (and some of us might already be planning costumes)! 👻

Riding Dragon Rabbit Capitol LLC’s Conletino PS, Carlysle won the National Derby Regional Championship Open and the Hamel Foundation 3’3” Region 9 Championship 🏆✨🥇

Lots of congrats for Southwest Showdown, Monarch had an amazing week! 🦋

Huge congratulations to Carlysle Drosos, Hannah Sprague, and Avery Reid for qualifying for Maclay Finals at the National Horse Show in the Maclay Regional Championship Class on Sunday. Best of luck to these girls in Kentucky this year!!! 🍀

Also, big congratulations to Abigail Finch for sweeping the Adult Hunter 18–35 division and taking the win in the Adult Hunter Classic riding her own Hampton. These two were 🔥!

Katherine Dixon riding her own Speakeasy was Champion in the Short Stirrup Division. 🏆
Eloise Casey riding Memphis Belle was Champion in the Limit Hunter Division. 🏆

Brook Adler rode her Christo KC De Beau Marias to Reserve Champion in the Low Adult Hunter Division, while barn mate Dana Dettmer and Black Tie in Rio won the Low Adult Equitation on the Flat and took two blues in the Low Adult Division as well. 🥇🙌

Hannah Sprague was Reserve Champion Junior Equitation 15–17 and earned a bronze medal in the Maclay Regional Championship. 🥉

Isabel Arnold and Monarch Stables’ Sainted were Reserve Champion in the Opportunity Poles. 🌟
Wesley Whitworth won the Hamel NHS 3’3” Equitation riding Kitt Kahn. 🥇
Scarlett Bellm and her MTM Zendaya took second in the Children’s Hunter Classic, and Quinn Walker won the Limit Equitation on the Flat. 👏

Despite the hot temps, our horses and riders shined all week. 🌟 Thanks Southbound Show Management for the hospitality!
