Gemma Update : This sweet girl is loving life and getting better every day ❤️

10/29/2026

Your donations at work ❤️ Monday, we did a spay/neuter transport with 16 dogs joining the “not your baby mama/daddy” club 🙌 Today, we picked up 2,100 lbs of dog food for our rescue dogs plus senior wet food and lickable treats for our kitty friends 🐾 Thank you for making all of this possible 💙

10/28/2026

Dog Food Sponsors Needed : Tomorrow, we have the chance to purchase 2,100 lbs of high quality dry dog food at a heavily reduced rate plus cases of senior cat food and boxes of lickable treats for kitties. The total we need to raise to be able to purchase this is $600. We know we are super late posting, but we will update everyone soon on what has been going on at the rescue. We have had some really long days. If you can help, please consider donating below. It takes a lot of food to keep tummies full 🐾❤️🐾 (This little guy is a new intake who came in severely emaciated with an ulcerated eye and a degloved tail. He was very happy to have a big plate of food all to himself ❤️)

Wave hello back to the babies ❤️ Toffee’s puppies turn six weeks old today! (Two of her eight are not as into the social media glam life as the others - but they are doing just fine too 🤣)

SPAY/NEUTER TRANSPORT SPONSORS : We have an awesome opportunity this Monday. We have a long awaited spay and neuter transport set up for 16 dogs - 8 females and 8 males. Right now, shelters/rescues are in crisis with large numbers of puppies coming in the doors daily. And we know - puppies are adorable. But the hard truth is that there are only enough homes for so many….And this is where transports like these come in. This transport will save 320 lives if each dog produces just two litters in their lifetime - and just imagine the number if each of their offspring also produces another two litters 😬 Pet overpopulation is a major issue and transports like this mean less dogs abandoned, neglected, and abused.

What we need : Each dog needs a sponsorship of just $50 to cover transport to the spay/neuter appointments and needed vaccinations. The total for this transport is $800. Please consider sponsoring one dog to save the lives of many in the future.

Good night friends ❤️

Sweet Reba ❤️ Reba is an 11 year old dachshund. She was found as a stray, but we were able to locate her owner via her microchip. Unfortunately, Reba’s dad had passed away from cancer and her mom no longer had a safe place to keep her. She made the decision to turn her over so she could find a stable, safe home for her retirement years. Reba is the sweetest little girl who stole everyone’s hearts at our vets office ❤️

Reba was vetted this week. She is now up to date on all her vaccinations, heartworm tested, and blood work done. She had a dental, as she had an oral fissure in the roof of her mouth and some teeth that needed to come out. She is now on antibiotics for the oral infection and pain meds for arthritis. She will be feeling so much better here shortly. Thankfully, her overall health is good and we expect to spend several more years ahead with this sweet girl ❤️

Reba’s vet care was $498 exactly. This last few weeks, we have had several major medical and our usual vet care needs adding our bill to over $13,000. It is staggering and we are trying to figure out how to get it down while still helping pets in need like precious Reba. If you have the ability, please consider making a tax deductible donation so we can continue our rescue work. Thank you for your support ❤️

Our dogs went into Dr Barrons office earlier and cleared for health certificates. Tonight, they are sleeping peacefully headed to their better forevers in Pennsylvania 🚐💨 Transport sponsors came up short $250 of the $500 needed. Any help to bridge the gap is appreciated.

Transport Sponsors Needed : We just confirmed numbers this morning, but we have five dogs and puppies headed north to Pennsylvania 🚐💨 Due to the length of this transport, we need sponsors of $100 each to cover health certs, needed vetting, van rental and fuel. And we have a CLOSE DEADLINE - as transport is set to leave THIS EVENING 😬 These five are so lucky to be accepted into a prison dog training program where they will be obedience trained, evaluated, and become possible service dogs ❤️ And another amazing thing about transport, it frees up space for us to take more - like the five sweet baby puppies in the last pic that will take one of our kennel spots when these leave 🥰 We know it’s a tight deadline but let’s make this happen for all the pups. Please share!

This sweet girl is Nix. Nix was posted on Facebook as free to a good home and needed a home that day. The photos were old photos where she looked healthy and well kept. Unfortunately, when we arrived she was on a tie out in the back yard. She is terrified of everything. Nix is matted and under those mats is just bones. She tested positive for hookworms. And is currently at our vet for grooming and vetting. Nix is a beautiful girl who has had a least five homes in the last two months (as we traced back the original owner who gave her away). She deserves a lifetime of love and care. Looking forward to their sweet girls after photos ❤️
