INTRODUCING WALK & WASH WITH SOUL DOGS, INC. & GOOD BOY JACKS!
Did you know your dog’s walk and bath could make a difference in someone’s life?

What is Walk & Wash?
Walk & Wash is a community program where Soul Dogs clients help walk and wash dogs with support from our staff and trained dog professionals. Your pup gets exercise, attention, and a bath while our clients gain valuable hands-on work experience!
Why does it matter?
Soul Dogs, Inc. is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and autism. Through Walk & Wash, our clients build:
• Communication and teamwork
• Confidence and independence
• Responsibility and safe dog-handling skills
• Real-world job and community experience

What should you bring?
Please bring your dog with a collar or harness and leash. If your pup needs special shampoo or has specific care needs, please bring those items and let us know! Our clients are supported by Soul Dogs staff and trained dog professionals throughout the experience.

THE BEST PART? WALK & WASH IS COMPLETELY FREE!
There is no cost to bring your pup for a walk and a wash! Donations are always appreciated and help us continue creating meaningful opportunities for our clients.

💙 Different abilities. Valuable skills. Meaningful opportunities.

At Soul Dogs, Inc., our apprentices do more than work with dogs. They practice communication, problem-solving, teamwork, responsibility, and the skills needed to prepare for future employment.

Every training session, new challenge, and successful moment is an opportunity to learn and grow. We’re proud of the dedication our apprentices bring to their work and the progress they make along the way!

This National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we’re celebrating the talents and contributions of people with disabilities and the importance of workplaces that recognize what everyone has to offer. 💙

💙🐾 National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) 2026 🐾💙

This October, we’re celebrating A Legacy of Inclusion: Colorado’s Next 150 Years!

At Soul Dogs, Inc., we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute their talents in the workplace. Through our apprentice program, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain hands-on experience working with dogs, develop valuable job skills, and build confidence as they work toward meaningful employment.

Building an inclusive future starts with creating opportunities today. We’re proud to support our apprentices as they grow their skills, discover their strengths, and work toward their career goals. 💙

Here’s to a Colorado where everyone has the opportunity to belong, contribute, and succeed!

🎓🐾 Congratulations to Our Apprentices! 🐾🎓

Our Temple Grandin dog-training elective has officially wrapped up! Congratulations to all of the apprentices who took part and committed to teaching, practicing, and building their dog-training skills throughout the course.

From learning how to teach behaviors to practicing communication, patience, and advocating for the needs of the dogs and their clients, our apprentices gained valuable hands-on experience they can carry forward.

We’re proud of everyone who took on the challenge and put in the work. Great job, apprentices! 🐶💙
