Here are a few photos from our Paracord Fabrication Class, led by Job Coach Darrell Becker Jr. Our apprentices are developing valuable job skills while creating durable, handcrafted paracord gear with pride and purpose.

Meet Jack 💜🐾

Jack has been working hard as an apprentice in the Soul Dogs Dog Training Academy program, and his growth has been incredible to watch. Through consistent training, dedication, and a willingness to learn, he has made great strides in developing the skills and confidence needed for success.

Today, we're excited to celebrate a special milestone—Jack received his new apprentice training vest! 🎉 This vest represents the progress he's made, the work he's put in, and the journey he's continuing with the support of our team.

We're proud of everything Jack has accomplished so far and look forward to watching him continue to learn, grow, and thrive. Keep up the great work, Jack! 🩵🐾

Learning, growing, and making a difference every day. 🐾

Our Soul Dogs apprentices and incredible dogs in the Dog Training Academy have been hard at work practicing public access skills, building confidence, strengthening partnerships, and showing what teamwork looks like in the real world. Every outing is an opportunity to learn, and we're so proud of the progress these teams are making.

🐾 Wednesday Training Tip from Soul Dogs!

Did you know consistency is the #1 key to obedience training?

If you say "sit" once and your dog ignores it, resist the urge to repeat the command. Instead, wait them out — or gently guide them into position — then reward immediately when they get it right.
When you repeat the command over and over, your dog learns that "sit" actually means "sit... sit... SIT... SIIIIT." 😅

One cue. One chance. Big reward. That's how dogs learn fast.

🐶 Meet Casserole — and she's looking for her forever home! 🏡✨

Casserole is a 1.5-year-old Siberian Husky mix at the Denver Animal Shelter. She's a sweet, shy girl who trusts with her whole heart — she just takes a little time to warm up. Once she does? You'll have a loyal best friend for life. 🤍

She loves dogs with good manners and does best in a calm, patient home.

🐾 Adoption includes spay, vaccinations, microchip, and a one-year Denver pet license — all taken care of!
