🌪️ June is National Pet Preparedness Month — and in Florida, it also marks the beginning of Hurricane Season. Emergency planning isn’t just for people — pets also need preparedness plans.

The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and Ready.gov all recommend including pets in disaster evacuation plans by:
✔ Keeping vaccines current
✔ Maintaining accessible medical records
✔ Preparing emergency supply kits
✔ Ensuring pets have permanent identification through microchips

To help families prepare this season, we’re offering:

Microchips provide permanent identification that can help reunite lost pets with their families during evacuations, storms, or emergencies.

Memorial Day Weekend Update

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are deeply grateful for their service.

Our clinic will be closed from Saturday, May 23rd, through Monday, May 25th, so our amazing team can spend meaningful time with their families. We truly appreciate the hard work and dedication our staff brings every single day—this well-deserved break helps us come back even stronger for you and your pets.

We'll reopen Tuesday, May 26th, at 7:30 AM and look forward to seeing you then.

We hope your week is ending in a wonderful, wagging-tail way!
Here at Brooksville Veterinary Clinic, we believe that taking care of our team is just as important as the compassionate, high-quality care we provide to your beloved pets. 🌪️ Weather Update & Early Closure Today 🌪️
For the safety of our team, clients, and community, we will be closing early today at 3:30 PM due to the active Tornado Warning in our area.
We currently plan to reopen tomorrow at our normal business time, 7:30 AM.
