🌪️ June is National Pet Preparedness Month — and in Florida, it also marks the beginning of Hurricane Season. Emergency planning isn’t just for people — pets also need preparedness plans.
The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and Ready.gov all recommend including pets in disaster evacuation plans by:
✔ Keeping vaccines current
✔ Maintaining accessible medical records
✔ Preparing emergency supply kits
✔ Ensuring pets have permanent identification through microchips
To help families prepare this season, we’re offering:
🐾 $10 OFF Microchips Throughout June 🐾
Microchips provide permanent identification that can help reunite lost pets with their families during evacuations, storms, or emergencies.
To participate in Pet Preparedness Month and save on microchipping, pets must be current on their Rabies vaccination and have had an up-to-date annual exam with one of our wonderful veterinarians here at Brooksville Veterinary Clinic.
Please note: This promotion has no cash value beyond the discounted service price.
