TYPHUS CASES SURGE IN CALIFORNIA AND TEXAS

The 2026 CAPC forecast tells a different story depending on where you practice.

In Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia — Lyme risk is expanding faster than almost anywhere else in the country. In the Mountain West — Colorado, Wyoming, Montana — heartworm is showing up in places most vets wouldn't expect. In the Southeast and Southwest — ehrlichiosis risk remains high, and it's spreading north.
