LOST PUPPY — NO GHOSTS OR GOBLINS, PLEASE!

This little cutie was found on Town Farm Road in Brookfield.

Today is NOT the day to be wandering around searching for ghosts and goblins when you're a cute little dog!

We don't want this little boo to spend Halloween without their family.

We'd really love to reunite this sweet pup with their owner before the witches, ghosts, and ghouls come out to play!

If you recognize this little pumpkin, or if they belong to you, please let us know ASAP!

Let's get this little boo home before Halloween gets too spooky!

On August 14th, I had the honor of meeting Hedwig — a barred owl who was hurt, grounded, and having a very bad day.

I scooped him up and took him to the wildlife hospital where he had surgery and has been recovering like the absolute champion he is ever since.

Today I got to do the best part — I released him! And he brought a plus-one: another fledgling I named Pigwidgeon.

Yes, I know someone on this page is cringing at me naming them. I was raised to believe every rescue deserves a name — so if the worst happens, they are remembered and they mattered.
So here we are, naming owls.
No regrets.

Against all odds, both of these goofy, magnificent, wide-eyed miracles survived. And today they went home, right back to where they belong.
Fly free, Hedwig and Pigwidgeon. Thanks for letting me be a small part of your story.

Okay North Brookfield neighbors- you know the drill!
Let’s get Kai home where he belongs!

Do’s:
1. Keep your eyes and ears open for him
2. Check your home or trail cams for any animal that looks like Kai
3. Share with your neighbors that might not have social media
4. Call in any sightings you have to the number listed

Do NOT:
1. Go out searching.. go about your day to day life but keep him at the top of your mind
2. Call out or try to catch him yourself if you see him. Kai trusts his family. He is their best chance. Calling the number listed if you see him, with a description of appearance, location & his direction will get him home faster!

🌿🐢 NEVER UNDERESTIMATE A LITTLE FIGHTER! 🐢🌿

From a roadside accident in April to the freedom of going home today, Alvin has come a LONG way!

After being hit by a car, Alvin began a journey that included rehabilitation, treatments, setbacks, and plenty of hard work.

But this little guy had other plans besides giving up! 💪

He stayed strong through his recovery and made it very clear, on numerous occasions, that he was ready to leave his enclosure and get back to life on his own terms! 😂

And today, he finally got his wish!

ALVIN IS HOME! ❤️🏡

His journey is a beautiful reminder that even after a difficult setback, healing is possible when determination meets compassion.

A HUGE thank-you to Turtle Rescue League for standing by Alvin, providing the care he needed, and helping him reach this incredible milestone.

It takes a special kind of dedication to give wildlife a second chance, and Alvin’s story is proof of just how much that dedication matters.

Go enjoy your freedom, Alvin! You’ve more than earned it! 🐢💚
