Central New England Equine Rescue (CNEER)

Central New England Equine Rescue (CNEER) Central New England Equine Rescue (CNEER) Central New England Equine Rescue (CNEER) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization located in Massachusetts.

We are an all-volunteer rescue for horses. (See what Guide Star has to say about CNEER. Guide Star has a database of information about U.S. nonprofit organizations.) We have a wonderful group of volunteers with the same goal in mind, to rescue and rehabilitate horses. Everyone involved at CNEER ensures that all horses rescued are treated with the best possible care. We know what is involved in the

rehabilitation to make them healthy and restore their spirit. We also have learned that we cannot do everything for all horses, but we can do something! One horse at a time, we fight the good fight to restore faith to these magnificent creatures that have been put through great suffering in their lifetime.

Winnie had a wonderful outing today ....well sort of....flying down the driveway when she saw the halter! Lovely...we jumped in the Kawasaki and made believe we weren't interested in catching her at all as we went past her ....then swooped in to steer her away from the road....she did a little dance to try to sneak by but the wrangler girls (that was Michele and me) out steered her....she spun around at a full gallop back toward home. We were laughing and having a great time. Still she saw the halter and was off once again by the upper corrals (i know she was laughing at the horses stuck in the corrals) as she munched green lush grass. On foot we finally wrangled her into the barn where she had her halter put on and quietly walked in to the field with her pals as though nothing at all just happened. Fun morning! Never a dull moment at the rescue
