🐾 Meet Duke 🐾
Duke is a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd who is currently enrolled in a 3-week Behavioral Modification program. The primary objective of this program is to help Duke develop greater emotional security and confidence in his interactions with the world around him. His early life was severely impacted by deplorable living conditions, which were largely the result of genetic factors and delayed developmental milestones. Consequently, Duke has developed into a nervous and skittish individual.
Notably, it took three days for him to cease attempting to create distance from me while holding a leash.
I am eager to observe his progress and development over the coming weeks!

What is the "Teachers Pet Difference"? I consistently reference it in our posts and videos because you, our clients, have shared that it's what sets us apart. Our training experience is designed to deliver more. It encompasses education focused on real-life training scenarios, canine behavior insights, and personalized understanding of each dog. You've observed that our training methodology, regardless of the specific program, is distinct. I believe that my role as a trainer is just one aspect; your involvement as an owner is equally important. When we work together, success follows!
Part of my job is helping you become your best self for your dog. By building a valuable human canine relationship.
Communication between my owners & I is key.
You can expect me to check in to update you during the process. As well as check in on you before, during and after training.

I strive to be better every day, then the day before.
I know my abilities and inabilities. I strive to learn more & more on what I love dog behavior & everything that is dog!
I will not accept a dog if I am not capable of helping.
Will refer to the best trainer for what a particular dog needs.

I do not believe in bullying and/or starving a dog to accomplish training. Training should be a fun learning experience for your dog.
*I will make sure those that hurt dogs in the name of dog training get charged and shut down. Period!

Your dog is a valuable part of your life and a member of your household. Your dog is treated like my own. Your dog becomes my buddy during the training process. My other name is Aunt Monica or Treat dealer 😂 I know it's corny but I love it!

I do not believe in speaking down to someone just because they have a question or struggling to understand what I'm teaching. I Believe in educating you. ITS ok if you don't know something or have questions. I love questions.

As long as you allow me to I will invest in you & dogs lives.
