Hi, I'm Torey (the other one that works here). I have been at Jones for about 5 months now, I have been working on and off with animals since 2015. I have worked at a few shelters, had a TNR rescue, and helped some friends with there own animal rescues. Working with animals is my passion!

I am engaged and have a little boy. I also share my life with my 5 cats- YingYang, Aries, Pearl, Kasey, and Chocolate.

When I'm not at work you can catch me with my son, working in the garden, or hanging out with my family.

What Would Dr. Allen Do?

Dr. Allen is so knowledgeable—not just in veterinary care, but in life, too! (And yes, he gives free advice!)

We are beyond grateful to have him as the owner of our clinic. We couldn’t ask for a better boss. He truly is a hero to us all!

Hi! I’m Genny, the Office Manager here at Jones Animal Hospital. I’ve been part of the Jones family for 3 years now, and I truly love what I do! I was born and raised right here in Bristol, and I feel lucky to work in the community I call home.

I’ve been married to my husband for 20 wonderful years. We have two children and are proud grandparents to three sweet grandkids. At home, I’m surrounded by my furry companions—two French Bulldogs, Theo and Olivia, and a lovable boxer mix named H***h.

When I’m not at the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and capturing life’s little moments through photography. We also enjoy traveling when we get the chance!

Hey everyone! I’d like to introduce myself, my name is Annina Russell and I have been the groomer at Jones Animal hospital for close to 20 years. Animals have been a passion for me throughout my life, I grew up an equestrian and then attending Virginia Intermont College. I’m incredibly honored to be able to work with the incredible doctors and staff at Jones. I’m very lucky to say that I have a wonderful work family.
When I’m not at work, you can usually find me at either the casino losing all my money or the Blue Ridge comedy club doing stand-up comedy. But my very favorite is spending time with my husband, we love to travel, explore new places, cultures and foods.

Hi my name is Leah and this is going to be a bit different than the other introductory posts. Today is my last day at Jones Animal Hospital I have worked here since February 2018 and I have loved it here. I have been celebrated and supported through many of life’s changes while here including graduating high school, loss of family, and now having a new baby! Dr. Allen and everyone here is like family to me and I will miss them greatly but it’s time for my next chapter. Hello! My name is Tori (one of two that work here). I worked at Jones from 2019-2022, and then moved to North Carolina. I worked ER and mixed practice while down there, and then Hurricane Helene brought me back to Jones! I’m happy to be back!
I work here as a Surgical Assistant, so my day consists of taking care of any animal here for procedures or hospitalization.
When I’m not here I spend most of my time with my boy, Wrangler! We love to be outside hiking and going on adventures. At home I have two cats.
This job truly is my passion and I can’t imagine doing anything else
