Unfortunately, sometimes families discover allergies in a heartbreaking way, and they were incredibly sad to have to lose this family member that they loved so much after just a short period. 📬HE REFUSED TO CHANGE HIS ZIP CODE!😻

Tweetsie was in the first group of DRR cats to join our foster friends at Boops & Beans Cat Cafe. So he moved from Jonesborough to Kingsport and got a new zip code. But today is adoption day for Tweetsie and not only is he NOT leaving Kingsport, he is NOT changing his address at all!

Is that a head scratcher or what?! Well these days Tweetsie is going by the name Hank and he is moving into one of the private residences ABOVE the Cafe with his new Cat Daddy! He'll have a wonderful mama as well as cat siblings Kenneth and Cheese! Thank you Bryan Brown for opening up your heart & home to this sweet Tabby Train fella! We are so grateful for you and Shae!

It was a good week for shutting down some baby factories! Thanks to our friends at the WCJC Animal Shelter - Judy and Doug Lowrie Spay Neuter Clinic, the Z Pack, Zayla & Zara went for spay on Monday. We also got some help from our friends at Operation: Johnson Kitty for a neuter slot for Redmond yesterday and today Jack (the last of the Three's Company trio). Not only was this made possible by these wonderful animal welfare partners, it was also made possible by YOU, our amazing donors and supporters.

Jack is a community cat and will be rejoining his ladies after surgery today but the other 3 are now O-fficially adoption ready! Can't wait to see who they pick for a family.

☕️ I'M A BIG KID NOW! 🐈‍⬛️

You gotta be a big kid to hang at Boops & Beans Cat Cafe. Well Tala and Valko of the Wolf Pack made it! They arrived yesterday just as the Cafe was closing so they could acclimate when it was a little less people-y. They are still trying to figure out which end is up but the staff is just wonderful about doing everything they can to give them the time they need. Before we know it these two cuties will be getting out the zoomies and walking the bridge in the Cafe. Make your reservation to go see them today:
