Today is National Black Cat Day, a day to raise awareness about low adoption rates, combat harmful superstitions, and highlight the charm of black cats. Superstitions are silly. If they truly were bad luck, with the amount of black cats we get every year, we'd all be miserable.
We have a few in our rescue.
Bobby who is part of a large litter and came from the location we took in 23 kittens.
Fuji is from the same property of Bobby, but younger, and will be ready in November.
Cinder is a Sr. Gal and long timer. We just found out she is battling hyperthyroidism and we are in the process of determining the best course of treatment.
We have a litter of 4 black kittens not pictured yet who should be available in November. Stay tuned for more on Klondike, Denali, Sitka and Kodiak.
We'd love to see pictures of your black cat(s), and please be sure to let us know if they are Furry Friends Rescue cats.
