I’ll be honest- I hate this baby stage😅😂They get ugly (with them dang pointy heads) before they get cute again, and good lord they don’t sit still for crap! The cutest one is the first one🤪

Between my husband and sister, they decided since it’s Black History Month, that we needed to name the rest of the babies after historic figures.

I’m struggling with the names- but I think im committing to Helga for my sturdiest girl!💪🏻😂 She has some nice little curl, but I don’t think her white will ever be enough to be showable. Guess we will see, but regardless I’m hoping she’ll be a great brood prospect!

First thing I had to do when I got home was torture all the babies!😩😍 And check on the 2 newbies!

2 GAR/Whites- 1 boar and 1 sow. I unfortunately don’t think the boar will have enough white to be showable.😕

I also think I misgendered the unshowable TSW. I think it’s a boar. Man is he solid 😩

BABY BOOM! 💥💥Last litter for a while!

I knew as soon as I left for a last minute trip this morning, Celtic Caviary’s Matilda was going to have babies without me!! Thank you to our amazing pet sitter, Sarah, for giving me the updates and these cute pictures!😆I can’t wait to see the genders and just them in general Monday night!

This is a special litter as these are (likely) the last babies from my beloved herd boar who passed NYE- RFOM’s Piggy Smalls 🥲❤️‍🩹 I do not think the other sow he was with took😕

Blessed to appear to have the sow gods with me today too! First (left) and 3rd (right) are the sows, and the middle is the boar!😍The little guy is seeming to be struggling to get his bearings, but I will keep a close eye on him and hope he can catch on!🥹

It’s baby day today with 2 mommas popping! First up is Mainly Meadow’s Agatha x Celtic Caviary’s Grizzly

First time momma Agatha did okay! She had a total of 4, but 2 survived. I’m giving her a hard time because the 2 DOA were the GAR/White babies, and she left me with MORE TSW!😩

Both look to be sows. The second one pictured only has that teeny tiny red splotch on her right foot, so she will be looking for a pet/brood 🏡 once weaned!

Such a fun show in Frankenmuth yesterday with some of my favorite people!🎄❤️💚

Under Andrew Miles and Joe Colucci, Ilona received best intermediate, and BOSB! This marks 4 BOSB wins for this 3 month old!💅🏻She just unfortunately can’t beat the boys. 🤷🏻‍♀️

In all 3 shows, it was a tight race between Mainly Meadows Graham Cracker, Celtic Caviary’s Radioactive Rufus and Grazing Guinea’s Shaun! Shaun did not pull through anything this time! But super proud to have a youngin compete so closely with the senior class pigs!

Congrats to Jess at Celtic Caviaryfor her BIS win with my favorite boy- Radioactive Rufus!☢️ Also congrats to Dan at Mainly Meadows for his RIS win and honorable mentions with Graham Cracker as well!

Last litter of the year! First time momma Matthilde had some hiccups on Friday! 😕Unfortunately I was not home when she decided it was time to bring the babies into the world… She had 4 babies, with 3 being left uncleaned. I’m fortunate to have one survivor (and a pretty cute one with more decent distribution than I’ve had lately at that)!

I was nervous to post as he kept dropping weight, but I think we’re in the clear now!

Grazing Guinea’s Rigatoni and Gnocchi! 2 heavily marked TSW babies. They look to be 1 sow and 1 boar.

The boar (right) only has that white face stripe and toes- which I’m not sure as he grows up if he’ll be able to show.😕The sow (left) has little white as well, but she at least has half a face!
