We are excited to recognize our Pegasus Spring Interns - Molly M. (John Jay Cross River High School), Josie C. ( ) and Quinton G. (Blind Brook High School ) - for their hard work, dedication, and willingness to learn. Each of these students first joined Pegasus as a volunteer and chose to further their involvement through our internship program.

As part of their high school senior projects, these students chose to trade the classroom for the barn during their final weeks of high school. Building on the foundation they developed as volunteers, our interns took on additional responsibilities and expanded their knowledge of horse care, daily barn operations, and our therapeutic riding program.

While here, they supported our program by leading horses, side-walking alongside participants, assisting with daily barn tasks, and caring for our horses. Their commitment, compassion, and hard work made a meaningful impact on our riders, horses, staff, and fellow volunteers.
We are grateful for the time, energy, and enthusiasm Molly, Josie, and Quinton brought to Pegasus. It has been a pleasure to watch them grow in their skills, confidence, and leadership. We are proud to have been part of their journey and thank them for all they have contributed to Pegasus. We wish them every success as they begin their next chapter.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the for a special screening of Pegasus: Changing Lives Through Horses.

It was a wonderful evening of storytelling, connection, and conversation as we shared the experiences of the participants, staff, horses, and families whose lives have been touched by Pegasus. We were grateful for the opportunity to introduce members of the Bedford community and beyond to the impact of our programs and mission.

A special thank you to Bedford Playhouse for hosting us and to for not only creating this beautiful film, but also serving as our moderator for the evening's Q&A discussion.

We are grateful to everyone who attended, asked thoughtful questions, and helped us spread awareness of the life-changing work happening at Pegasus every day.

Many guests at our Open House enjoyed the opportunity to meet "Mac", our Equicizer. An Equicizer is a mechanical horse that simulates the movement of riding, allowing participants to safely experience mounting, balance, and basic riding skills while learning more about the therapeutic riding experience at Pegasus. 🐴
