💎🐴 This year, we’re doing something a little different at the Pegasus Denim & Diamonds Gala.

Instead of honoring one individual, we’re celebrating the hundreds of incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, compassion, and heart to Pegasus throughout the year. ❤️

From supporting our participants and caring for our horses to helping at events, maintaining our beautiful farm, and lending a hand wherever it’s needed, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.

✨ This year’s Denim & Diamonds Gala is dedicated to the incredible volunteers who make Pegasus possible, and we want YOU there to help us celebrate them!

Whether you’re a volunteer, a family member, a friend, a participant family, or simply someone who believes in the Pegasus mission, this is your chance to be part of a very special evening honoring the people who give so much throughout the year.

🐴 Hanging with the Herd! 💙

Last week, we welcomed our Hanging with the Herd raffle winners, Ronan and Jimmy, along with their parents, for a special visit to the farm!

They learned the proper way to say hello to a horse before spending some up-close time with Violet, Falki, Cooper, Buttercup and Roani. And of course, no visit would be complete without a treat! 🥕 Buttercup and Roani were very happy when Ronan and Jimmy gave them some carrots.

This special experience was one of the raffle prizes offered at our Egg Hunt this past spring. Experiences like Hanging with the Herd aren’t something we offer every day. They’re special opportunities created just for guests at select Pegasus events!

✨ Saturday Spotlight ✨

This summer, we were fortunate to welcome Reagan W. to the Pegasus team as our summer intern. Reagan is a student at Emory & Henry University, where she is studying equine therapy and preparing for a career helping both horses and people.

Reagan's passion for horses began early—she has been riding since she was just four years old. She has completed internships at other equine facilities, but was excited for the opportunity to gain even more hands-on, real-world experience in her field through her time at Pegasus.

Throughout her internship, Reagan was always ready to lend a hand wherever she was needed. Whether she was helping in the barn, or leading and sidewalking during therapeutic riding lessons, she approached every task with a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Her dedication and strong work ethic made her a valuable member of our team.

As a special thank-you for all of her hard work this summer, Reagan had the opportunity to ride Falki, one of our beloved therapeutic horses, at the conclusion of her internship—a well-deserved reward and a memorable way to celebrate her time at Pegasus.

Thank you, Reagan, for your commitment, compassion, and the energy you brought to Pegasus. We wish you continued success as you pursue your degree and future career in equine therapy!

We’re grateful to see Pegasus Therapeutic Riding featured in Mid-Hudson News! 💙🐴

Recent improvements to Pegasus Farm, made possible through $100,000 in state funding secured by Senator Pete Harckham, are already making a meaningful difference for our participants, families, staff and volunteers.

From safer, more reliable access to our property to important upgrades to our Administration Building, these improvements help us continue expanding our programs and creating welcoming, year-round spaces for the people we serve.

Join us at Pegasus Therapeutic Riding for our Resilience Training for Veterans and First Responders. Through hands-on experiences with our horses, you'll build resilience, strengthen communication, and develop practical skills in a safe, supportive environment.
