ATTENTION LOCALS!!

Branson’s Wild World is excited to celebrate our locals with special discounted admission during Area Appreciation weeks each month for the rest of the year. This is a great opportunity to bring your family out to enjoy the animals and experiences right here in your own backyard.

Admission during these weeks will be $15 for adults (ages 13+), $10 for children (ages 3–12), and free for children 2 and under.

Our first Area Appreciation week is coming up soon, running September 14–20. We look forward to welcoming you and your family for an unforgettable visit!

This week’s squeaks came from our Asian small-clawed otters, Gatsby and Lylla! Here they are in action—Gatsby showing off with his favorite keeper’s towel while Lylla supervises.

Painting isn’t just for our ring-tailed lemurs and otters, lots of our animals enjoy getting creative! From paw prints to paint splatters, our furry friends had a blast creating their very own masterpieces.

What makes this even better is that you can take home one of these unique works of art! Paintings are available for sale, each one as one-of-a-kind as the animal who made it.

Say hello to Fez, our screaming hairy armadillo! Known for their digging skills and speedy little legs, these armadillos also get their name from the surprising squeals they can make when threatened.

No monkey business here — you all nailed it!
This is Cranberry, one of our ring-tailed lemurs, back when she was just a youngster. These days, she’s climbed the ranks to become second in command of the troop.

With their nimble fingers, ring-tailed lemurs can swipe snacks, groom their pals, and scale just about anything. Come see our lemur crew in action… but maybe hold onto your snacks!

🦁Happy World Lion Day🦁

Every year on August 10th, people around the globe celebrate lions. It’s a day to admire their beauty and strength while also raising awareness about the challenges they face in the wild. Once found across much of Africa, Asia, and Europe, lions are now threatened by habitat loss, human conflict, and a decline in prey populations.

At Branson’s Wild World, we’re lucky to spend our days with Reina, our lioness whose name means queen in Spanish. She carries herself with grace and strength, a perfect example of why lions are known as the rulers of the animal kingdom. She is a reminder of the importance of protecting these incredible animals so they can continue to inspire awe for generations to come.
