Great news! We were able to resume spay and neuter surgeries this Saturday. Dr. K is recovering and was able to return to work.

We’ll be busy rescheduling all of the October appointments that had to be postponed due to illness. If you had a surgery date in October, please keep an eye on your email—Snip City will be reaching out soon with new scheduling options.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

“Hello! We just wanted to give you a little update. Carrot, aka Coco, is truly living his best life with us. He’s grown into such a happy, sweet boy, and we adore him more every single day. We just wanted to share how loved and spoiled he is, and let you know that he’s become a very special part of our family. ❤️🐾”

This weekend, Branson Humane Society was honored to partner with BISSELL Pet Foundation to help give hope, and a future, to hundreds of deserving dogs. This week, there were over 240 dogs.

BISSELL Pet Foundation works closely with National Mill Dog Rescue (NMDR) to rehome breeder-release dogs from their Missouri facility. Together, they coordinate quarterly transports to move dogs to partner rescues across the country, giving each one a real chance at a loving home. Over 120 dogs were flown to 8 different Michigan rescue partners, 50 were driven to NMDR's home-base in Colorado. The rest went to rescue partners within driving distance.

As part of this lifesaving effort, 21 dogs made their way to Branson Humane Society from "Dogville." These sweet souls are now safe in our care and beginning their journey toward the families they’ve always deserved.

We do want everyone to know that we currently know very little about these dogs. Each one will need to be spayed or neutered before they can be adopted, and right now they need time to decompress while we learn more about their personalities and what each of them needs to thrive.

We’ve already received an incredible number of inquiries and adoption applications for most of them. Please be patient with our team—we will begin reviewing and processing applications next week. Our priority is always to ensure the best possible match for every animal in our care.

We’re grateful for BISSELL Pet Foundation’s ongoing support, not only for their work with NMDR, but also for helping us provide our low-cost spay/neuter clinic to our community.

Every one of these 240 dogs deserves compassion, stability, and a family to call their own. Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible. ❤️🐾

Here are photos from this weekend and some of the incredible people and animals. The 20 dogs that will be available to adopt are posted at the end. We can not respond to all the comments and messages. Please go to our website www.bransonhumanesociety.com and find the dog you are interested in adopting. There will be basic information with their photo on our website.

***Adoption fee is $150 for dogs***
- They all still need to be spayed or neutered
- YOU can find their basic information on our
website www.bransonhumanesociety.com
- the adoption form is on our website
www.bransonhumanesociety.com
- you can visit them Monday through Saturday
from noon to 4 pm
- there are too many messages and comments
for us to be able to respond to all of them.

Adopt. Foster. Donate. Share.
Together, we can change their lives.
