Mr. Morris has been stopping by occasionally the last few weeks! This morning Murphy thought about midnight who was adopted and returned for Mr. Morris. So she gave him a call. He came by on his lunch break and met Midnight! He said he thought Midnight was just the right fit! Midnight hopped right on in the truck like he knew he was headed to his forever home! Midnight, we are super stoked for you!

Thank you to the Martin family for rescuing this sweet fellow. They found him last week roaming the streets, and he was microchipped, which showed he was adopted from our shelter. The previous owner could no longer care for him so we reached back out to the Martin family and they said they were coming to adopt him! And let me just tell you, he know exactly who they were when they came back to pick him up! This kind of story right here was a great way to start off our work week!!

Petunia is headed home finally after being at the shelter over a month! She will have 2 little sisters and a little brother (not pictured) to keep her busy! The Carter family has a big fenced in back yard, where she can run and play, but they say she will mostly be an inside dog! We are stoked that this sweet girl now has a family to call her own! ❤️

Most of these dogs have been at our shelter over a month with no interest. We feel like the Facebook algorithm isn’t showing our followers our posts.

As a high intake animal control facility, we must continue to make open kennels for the various pets that end up homeless within our county on a daily basis. We need adoptions now.

Thanks to an incredible local business owner Mr. Penn and several good samaritans, all of these dogs currently have their adoption fees waived to help save their lives.

Adoption includes spay/neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines and deworming.

You can come "just to look" at 710 Marquette Road in Brandon MS 9am-4pm on weekdays and 8am-12:30pm on Saturday. Our staff is friendly and can help you find your perfect match.

Please help us help them.
