This crew has graduated now, but they were so fun to watch work on their tire skills. We can’t wait to see them in our SEQ Class soon.

Whether your call word is “tire” or “hoop” BARK is a great place to practice your tire skills. Want to join us? Go to www.barkagilityofms.com to register for classes and join our mailing list.

Beginner graduates!

These dogs (and their humans) successfully passed their beginner class this past Monday.

To pass the beginner height dog/handler teams must show confidence and understanding of:
A 1/2 height dog walk
A-Frame and their expected competition height
Tire at 8 inches
Ability to wait on a wobble board (intro to teeter)
Pause table w/ 5 second hold.

Next step for these guys is our Intro SEQ Class!

Thank you everyone for a great trial!! We had a blast and are excited to do it again next year!

Very interesting research update from the Canine Sports Science Consortium.

While there are risks in dog agility, the obvious injury rate is less than 1%. Although over 7% of handlers chose to stop their run when an incident occurred.

An incident was something such as a dog falling off the dog walk, slipping from the teeter, taking a bed step, etc.
