If you're new to us, we want to put the faces with the names you hear before you come in. And if you've been around a while, we want to give you a little insight into who our doctors are when they're not here caring for your pets!
This month, our Doctor Spotlight is on Dr. Will Alexander.
Dr. Alexander is a native of Decatur, Alabama. He graduated from Troy University with a degree in European, Asian, and African history. While at Troy University, he was a founding member of the Troy University rugby team where he served as captain. He graduated from Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.
Dr. Alexander has a background in mixed animal medicine before coming to Oakdale. He has been a member of the Oakdale team since 2021. Dr. Alexander enjoys internal medicine cases, radiology, treating ear infections, and emergency surgeries. He enjoys working with cats and dogs, but is most fond of Rottweilers.
Dr. Alexander has a beautiful family with his wife, Hannah, and two little girls. He has several dogs, a cat, and fish. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, movies, and trivia. He and his wife are excited to welcome their third child this summer, a boy!
He is looking forward to seeing you and your pet to give them a compassionate and excellent visit!
