🧀 Happy National Cheese Day! 🧀

We couldn’t let today pass without celebrating the Vermont way! Here’s Dr. Tullar’s pups getting ready to enjoy some Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar — and honestly, we don’t blame them one bit.

As a Vermont clinic, we’re proud to share our state’s love of great cheese — and this one has our paws of approval! 🐾❤️

What’s your pups favorite cheesy snack? Spray cheese? Gouda? Let us know in the comments below! 😍

🐾 Four weekends. That’s all that stands between us and one of the best days the Upper Valley has seen in a long time.

Upper Valley Pet Fest is coming in hot on June 27th from 10 AM to 2 PM, and we thought — what better way to get you excited than to shine a spotlight on just SOME of what’s up for grabs in our raffle?

The Vermont Country Store. Bear Ridge Speedway. Royal Canin. Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS). Wells River Savings Bank. Dechra US. Harrison's Bird Foods. AND so many more... The donations just keep coming in, and trust us when we say you’re going to want to see these in person.

And that’s just a taste — more items are still being added to the lineup, so stay tuned.

Remember — admission is completely FREE, the food is going to be incredible, the music is going to be bumping thanks to DJ Thomas Quiggley, and every dollar spent supports Pets in Transition, helping animals in our community find safety, care, and loving homes.

📻 Catch us on 101.3 WYMKR for reminders as we get closer!

PLEASE mark yourself as GOING or INTERESTED, SHARE this with your people, and start thinking about which raffle item has your name on it as this event is here to support our Pets In Transition.

🌟 We have 2 very special shoutouts from yesterday!

First, a huge congratulations to our amazing Jess on her 3-year work anniversary! Jess is our Administrative Lead and Bookkeeper — and she truly does it all. She keeps our numbers in order, manages pet food orders so every pet has exactly what they need, and is a consistent and dedicated supporter of our PIT events and planning. On top of all of that, she has never hesitated to step in wherever she is needed. Jess, your hard work, your heart, and your willingness to show up in every way possible means the world to us. Three years of going above and beyond — we are so incredibly grateful for you! 🎉❤️

And a very happy birthday to our wonderful Kennel Attendant, Natalie! Day in and day out, Natalie shows up for the animals in our care with patience, compassion, and dedication. The work she does behind the scenes is so important, and the love she brings to every shift makes a real difference — both for the animals and for our whole team. Natalie, you are such a valued part of what we do here, and we hope your birthday is as special as you are! Hoping you had a day full of celebration, love, and maybe a little spoiling! 🎂🐾❤️

We are so lucky to have both of you. Cheers to Jess and Natalie! 🥂

💬 Join us in celebrating these two incredible women by dropping some love in the comments — they deserve all of it!

We have had SO much to celebrate already this month, and one thing we just can't stop smiling about is Haley hitting her 100th groom! ✂️🐾

If you know Haley, you know she is truly one of a kind. She wears many hats on our team — floating as a CSR, technician, and our lead groomer.

From day one, Haley has shown up with patience, dedication, and a natural gift for making every animal feel safe and loved. Her talent has grown leaps and bounds, and we are so grateful to have a front-row seat to her journey. She handles every animal — nervous, wiggly, or otherwise — with a calmness and kindness that is just so uniquely her.

We couldn't be more thankful to have her on our team, and we can't wait to see where the next 100 take her!

💬 Drop a ❤️ below and join us in celebrating Haley — she deserves all the love!

Happy Mother’s Day from Bradford Veterinary Clinic 🌸

To every kind of mama out there — this one’s for you.

To the moms chasing toddlers and teenagers. To the fur mamas whose dogs sleep in the bed and whose cats knock things off the counter at 3am. To the moms of grown children who still call when something’s wrong. To the grandmothers who stepped in and became everything. To the aunties who show up, every single time.

To the moms who are waiting — waiting to adopt, waiting for the right moment, waiting for a miracle. To those whose hearts have held love that didn’t stay as long as it deserved — you are a mama, and that never goes away.

Motherhood isn’t one shape. It’s a heartbeat that says I will love you and protect you no matter what — and that looks different for everyone.

At Bradford Veterinary Clinic, we believe in taking care of families — and that starts with taking care of the people who build them. That’s why we’re proud to offer parental leave for our team members, whether they’re welcoming a newborn or a child through adoption. Because the love you give your family deserves to be honored.

From our Bradford family to yours — thank you for loving so deeply and so fiercely. *📸Peep a couple of our own mamas!

🎉 Exciting news for our pet community — VEG Burlington officially opens TODAY at 12PM! 🐾

We had the chance to attend their open house Tuesday evening, and it was clear right away how passionate this team is about emergency veterinary care. We’re really excited to see another emergency option available for pets and families.

As your primary care veterinary team, one of our priorities is making sure you have somewhere trusted to turn for urgent and emergent needs after hours when we’re closed. That’s why we’re happy to share that VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group) is now open in South Burlington and available 24/7 for emergency care.

💚 VEG Burlington — 225 Dorset St, Suite A, South Burlington, VT

VEG ER for Pets is open 24/7 with no appointments needed. You can call ahead to speak directly with a veterinarian before leaving home, and once you arrive, pets are seen right away with owners able to stay by their side throughout care whenever possible. Their open layout clinic allows you to remain close to your pet during treatment. They treat dogs, cats, and a wide range of exotic animals, including birds, reptiles, rabbits, sugar gliders, and more. Here is their website to learn more🌐 www.veg.com. This post will be updated once their number is released to the public upon opening!

We also want to continue sharing the other emergency hospitals we’ve long trusted and recommended, which still remain options:

💚 BEVS (Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists) — 1417 Marshall Ave, Williston, VT 05495

In addition to around-the-clock emergency and critical care, BEVS offers a range of advanced specialty services including, internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, and radioiodine therapy. You can reach them at (802) 863-2387 or visit bevsvt.com.

💚 SAVES (Small Animal Veterinary Emergency & Specialty) — 63 Evans Dr, Lebanon, NH 03766

SAVES - Small Animal Veterinary Emergency & Specialty provides emergency and specialty care for dogs and cats in the Upper Valley. Their services include emergency veterinary care, surgery, and diagnostic imaging. Note that their hours vary — they are open 24 hours most days, but have limited hours on Wednesday (12:00am–7:00am) and Thursday (8:00am–11:59pm). You can reach them at (603) 306-0007 or visit savespets.com.

💚 LAVUC (Littleton Area Veterinary Urgent Care) — 1985 St. Johnsbury Road, Littleton, NH 03561

Littleton Area Veterinary Urgent Care, formerly known as LAVES, bridges the gap between a regular vet visit and a full emergency room, offering advanced diagnostics, outpatient treatment, sedated procedures, and stabilization of critical patients. For any patients needing overnight care, assistance arranging a transfer to a 24/7 emergency hospital will be provided. They are open Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, and Saturday, Sunday, and select holidays from 10:00am to 10:00pm, and are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Online check-in and scheduled arrival times are available. You can reach them at (603) 444-5533 or visit littletonves.org.

We’re grateful to have more resources available for our community and your pets. Emergencies are stressful enough — having good options matters. Save these numbers somewhere handy, and never hesitate to seek care if something feels wrong. ❤️

Please share this with fellow pet owners in your area — you never know who might need it! 🐾

🎉 Last weekend we celebrated Natalie's one-year anniversary with us — and we finally managed to get a picture of her! 📸

Natalie is one of our incredible kennel attendants who works tirelessly in the evenings to make sure all of our animals are well cared for. From administering medications and treatments to making sure every pup gets their late-night potty walk, she is one of the reasons our furry patients are in great hands after hours.

We asked Natalie to share a little about herself, and here's what we found out! She has been absolutely obsessed with sharks for as long as she can remember — and she wants you to know they are one of the most misunderstood animals out there. 🦈 She is also a total music lover who has seen over 25 bands live and would spend every dollar attending concerts if she could! 🎶

And this next part should tell you everything you need to know about Natalie — when asked what she wanted featured in her anniversary post, she didn't hesitate. She requested that our CVHS feline friend Maverick be included in hopes that it would help him find his forever home. 🐱 Well, we are thrilled to make this a double celebration — Maverick has been adopted! What a beautiful anniversary wish granted. 🎉🐾

We are so grateful to have Natalie on our team. Thank you for everything you do, Natalie — here's to many more years! 🐾❤️
