As this week comes to a close, we've been honored to celebrate someone truly special to our team - our amazing Office Manager, Jillian!

When Jillian first joined us as a receptionist, we quickly realized how dedicated and talented she was. She eagerly cross-trained as both a kennel attendant and pharmacy lab technician, always willing to jump in wherever needed and learn new skills. Her dedication, versatility, and willingness to grow didn't go unnoticed!

We are SO blessed that Jillian decided to step back into our practice, this time in the role of Office Manager! Her compassion for our patients, dedication to our clients, and support for our team make each day brighter.

Jillian, thank you for choosing to be part of our team and for bringing your whole heart to everything you do. You're not just managing our office - you're helping our entire team thrive. We're so grateful to have you back where you belong! 💙

Today we celebrate the amazing groomers who keep our furry friends looking and feeling their absolute best!

A huge shoutout to Haley, our incredible lead groomer, whose skill, patience, and love for every pet that comes through our doors never ceases to amaze us. Thank you for making tails wag and pets shine! 🐾 And what perfect timing – Haley welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world TODAY! 💙👶 Congratulations, Haley! We couldn't be happier for you and your growing family!

And to Makayla, our talented groomer in training – we're so excited to watch you grow in your grooming journey! Your dedication and gentle touch with our patients is truly wonderful. Keep up the fantastic work! 💙

To all the groomers out there: thank you for the baths, the trims, the nail clips, and the extra snuggles. You make such a difference in the lives of pets and their families!

🐾 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing Vet Tech Team!🐾

Last week, we celebrated National Veterinary Technician Week, and we couldn't let the moment pass without giving a huge shoutout to the incredible technicians who make everything we do possible!

From comforting nervous pets and assisting in procedures to educating pet parents and going above and beyond every single day—they do it all with skill, compassion, and heart. Our patients (and their humans!) are so lucky to have this team right here.

Krystle, Haley, Josh, Kristin, Devin, Jaime, and Kaylen-- Thank you for your dedication, your expertise, and the endless love you show to every animal that comes through our doors. We see you, we appreciate you, and we're so grateful to work alongside you! ❤️🩺

🍂 A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our table at the Corinth Fall Festival on Sunday!

It was great seeing familiar faces and meeting new friends from around the community. The beautiful fall weather made it an absolutely perfect day to celebrate together.

We're especially grateful for all the donations to Pets in Transition. Your generosity and compassion make such a difference in helping animals receive the care they need. 💕🐾

🎃 HAPPY SUNDAY! 🎃

We had a GOURD-geous time Friday night when some of our team and their loved ones got together for some pumpkin carving fun! 🐾✨

Nothing says "team bonding" quite like getting our paws dirty and carving up some festive masterpieces together. Our crew proved they can handle a scalpel AND a carving knife with paw-fessional precision. 😄 From spooky faces to silly designs, everyone really came out of their shell for this one!

🚨 Important Update: Canine Influenza Awareness

Dog parents, have you heard about Canine Influenza Virus? Here's what you need to know to keep your furry family member safe:

What is CIV? Canine Influenza Virus is a highly contagious respiratory infection that spreads easily between dogs through coughing, sneezing, and shared items like bowls or toys. Just like human flu, it can make your pup feel pretty miserable.

The Dangers: While many dogs experience mild symptoms like coughing, runny nose, and fever, CIV can progress to serious complications including pneumonia. Nearly all dogs exposed to the virus will become infected, and it can be fatal in rare cases. The tricky part? Some dogs show no symptoms but can still spread the virus to others.

Protection Through Vaccination: The good news is that CIV is preventable! Vaccination significantly reduces the severity of symptoms and helps prevent the spread of this illness, especially important if your dog:

* Goes to doggy daycare or boarding facilities
* Visits dog parks
* Participates in training classes or dog shows
* Is groomed at a salon
* Has any contact with other dogs

Most dogs recover with supportive care, but early detection is key. If your dog is coughing or showing respiratory symptoms, please call us right away.

Today we celebrated Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Day!

Thank you to this crew who works tirelessly to ensure your pet stays up to date and promptly receives the best attention for their needs to help keep them on the track to live their best life!

Despite the ups and downs that are presented in a sometimes chaotic day, these ladies are able to carry on and create a positive environment so that the strain is not passed on to you.

Lyndsey, Jay, and Jen make our clinic a brighter space. Their bubbly personalities and outgoing attitudes are truly inspiring. We are blessed to have them on our team and part of our BVC family.

Over the course of the past 3 months, Bradford Veterinary Clinic has rehomed 62 birds! We now have just 2 Ring-Necked Doves still awaiting their forever homes full of love, joy, and avian preparedness! 💚

These winged friends are im-peck-able! ☎️ If you are interested in adoption, please call us at 802-222-4903 to schedule a 40-minute consultation where you will meet with your bird and receive an avian education from our very own Dr. Tullar.

There is a $100 adoption fee that will go toward the care they have been receiving with us. If you are interested in helping these birds and/or other pets in need but aren’t ready to adopt, please consider donating to our “Pets in Transition” account! You can donate via card, cash, or by writing a check and noting “Pets in Transition” in the memo!
