It is with incredibly deep sadness and heartbreak that I tell you that our Harley boy has crossed the rainbow bridge. Harley was a birthday present to our kids, but within a few weeks I secretly knew he was mine and when the kids got older I made that very clear🤣! We got to spend 12 absolute wonderful years with him and as he got older and couldn’t move around very well I tried to still take him on adventures. He loved rides in the jeep and could stay in there all day long and in fact did some days! He wouldn’t get out until he was darn ready and when he was he would bark for me to come get him and lift him out. He loved the sun hitting his face and he would lift his head up to face it so he could feel the light and warmth shine down on him! He always wanted you to hold his hand, even when we went to the vet, he would hold his paw out for the techs and vets to make sure they knew that he wanted them to do that! He got lots of hands to hold his! He wholeheartedly had the sweetest soul of any dog or human I’ve ever known and anyone who met him could see that very quickly! Since we built the new house he used to lay in the dog room always, because that was where he most wanted to be, among the new friends that would come and stay. His bed was plopped right in the middle of all the fun. He couldn’t see them, but he absolutely knew they were there and wanted to be part of the pack!
We love you Bubba, always, my good boy ❤️
