Hey CCR friends and family! We're having a meet and greet event this Saturday from 11-2pm at the Plymouth PetSmart ! We will have a few volunteers there to answer questions you may have about some of the following topics amongst many others:

What does being a foster entail?
How do I become a volunteer?
What are the steps toward adopting?

We'll also have a couple of special furry guests with us too! 🐈‍⬛️🐈

What's faster than a speeding bullet?!?!
Kit's stay at Plymouth PetSmart !!
He was in and out of Chateau Petsmart within a few days!
The jury is still out on whether he's more powerful than a locomotive or able to leap tall buildings in a single bound!
We'll check in soon with his new adopter to find out! Happy Adoption For Keeps Kit!

Mister Kitty, or should I say Mister Personality,
left Chateau Petsmart to go to his furrever home last night! This adoption for keeps really has left not a dry eye with all the volunteers as everyone has come to love MK. And what's not to love?!?! He's handsome, very social, chatty and affectionate; not shy at all!! His new fur mom is over the moon that MK gets to be hers! Words can't even express it, but rest assured this amazing boy will be so spoiled and loved in his new home! Happy tails Mister Kitty!!! 🐈‍⬛️❤️

Also, I would be remiss if I didn't give a little shout out to fosters!! MK was in a long term foster situation before he came to Plymouth PetSmart and we are so grateful they held on to him for as long as they did!

When they say cats choose you, you don't choose the cats, Nelly's story is the perfect example. He had been fairly shy and reserved during his stay at Petsmart, but all that changed when he met a couple interested in adopting. They came in to meet Nelly, and within a few mins of coaxing, he was right out there with both of them, really longing to be around them and show affection! Our volunteer didn't hesitate to let them know how this wasn't the norm for him. Shortly after, they did leave and were going to give it the night to ponder, but minutes after leaving, they went back in, knowing they wanted Nelly.....and vice versa! We can't express how excited we are to see Nelly leave Chateau Petsmart to be with his new furrever family. Happy Tails Nelly!
