Last week we visited a local animal hospice - "Right to Life" - to feed abandoned dogs. All of them were left by their owners due to illness or injury. Sadly, most of dogs can be fully recovered under a proper veterinarian care. But unfortunately pet insurance does not exist in Kyrgyz Republic, and many owners fail to pay vet bills and care for their animals.

Currently there are 45 dogs in the care of the hospice. It only exists because of Olga who devotes her time to take care of dogs and generous people who occasionally provide food. Фонд помощи бездомным животным "Право на жизнь"

Today we are celebrating one year of our journey and working on a mission that we deeply care to connect dog parents and dog boarding businesses smoothly and quickly. Currently no web/online platform exists where all pet hotels are listed based on geophysical location and where pet parents can book a room for their pets just like they book a hotel room for themselves. We are working hard and now testing prototypes and fixing all bugs before we officially release the product. Stay tuned for updates. I would like to thank all members of the inn4pet family for hard work, and we will succeed!

We are happy to announce our new Advisory Board member - George Meneses. George has more than 6 years experience in pet care industry and owns a successful upscale pet hotel in Florida (https://www.facebook.com/wiltonsmanor/). He is also the only administrator of Facebook group - "Dog Daycare Owners & Staff", which has 637 members and is rapidly growing. All members are pet care professionals and work in pet boarding industry. George holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from University of Miami and has IT background.

You’ll need to set up a reward that you use while training your dog. For example, if the canine snaps when touched because their body is in pain, don’t scold or withhold affection from them. Instead, work with the animal to establish trust once again. When your dog lets you touch them, pick them up, and carry them, make sure that you have a treat nearby to give them. This lets your pet know that everything is going to be ok.

No More Gnawing

Does your dog gnaw on things that he or she shouldn’t be chewing on? Instead of giving up the idea of owning at least one good pair of shoes, you’ll want to find a satisfying substitute for your dog to chew on. Here is one idea that helps prevent your pup from gnawing on things you want to keep. Establish clear boundaries by telling your dog “No!” when you see him or her near your cherished belongings. More importantly, eliminate the desire to chew on your things by giving your pet toys that look different than other household items.
