These furry friends need your help getting home! Dog (black and white) and Sula (tan) are both 11 years old and left their home in the area of John Marsh Rd. and 177A around lunch time today.

If you see them or know where one or both of them may be, please give their owner, David, a call at 850-376-5974.

This guy was found on Commander Rd. in northwest Holmes County. He has on two collars, but no identifying information and no microchip.

He is being taken to Animal Control of West Florida in Chipley. If he belongs to you, please call them at 850-326-6417 to claim him.

April 09, 2026 - Holmes County Board of County Commissioners issued an order prohibiting outdoor burning in all of Holmes County.

The ban prohibits activities such as open burning; lawn, debris or trash burning; bonfires/campfires; outdoor fireplaces or cooking. The use of charcoal or gas grills for cooking is permitted under the order.

The order shall expire when conditions are again deemed safe, upon such date as determined by the Holmes County Board of County Commissioners and Holmes County Volunteer Fire Departement.

Please help us keep an eye out! Lil'Bit is a male Chihuahua mix, about 8 to 10 pounds. He was last seen around 9pm Wednesday, March 25th.

He went missing from around Copley and Betts and Highway 167 in Fountain, Florida. While Holmes County would be a long way from home for him, we’re sharing in case he was picked up by someone and brought here.

Is this your dog???

She was recently found at a residence on Hwy 79 just north of Hwy 177 (Bethlehem Hwy).

If you know who the owner is or it is your dog she will be at the Animal Shelter in Chipley she does not have a collar but is Microchipped with no owner information.

We'd love to see her reunited with her family!!
