Sometimes, no matter how well we plan, things don't go the way they were supposed to go. I was very hopeful that I would have had puppies by now but alas, Midna did not take. All the waiting, planning, executing, and waiting again was for naught. This time around. Here is hoping for better results come early 2027.
(Don't mind her naked belly. That's just where she was shaved for the ultrasound that first gave me a glimpse of the possibility of an empty uterus)
In the meantime, she has been practicing her agility skills and will have her debut this weekend.

Super proud of Ember and Navi this past weekend!

Ember and I spent last Friday morning playing her scentwork game where she earned her 1rst Q in Handler Discrimination, 2nd Q in Novice Interior, and her Novice Buried Title.

Navi played agility with my husband on Friday where together they earned her first Q's in Novice Standard/Jumpers and her Open FAST title along with High in Class certificates in all 3. I ran with her the rest of the weekend and we finished her Novice Standard and Jumpers titles and earned her first Excellent FAST Q.

A big THANK YOU to those who took the time to send me a message with an update on your pups today! I cant believe its already been 3 years since I welcomed these beautiful babies into this world.

We are still here and still active (though not near as much as we were last year). This year has been more about family and less about shows but we definitely came to support our club specialty show.
Today Liam won Best Jr Handler with some tough competition at the Cascade Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club Specialty!

Navi earned her Novice FAST title in agility this past month and has her first Q in Open FAST. 🥳

It has been wonderful to enjoy a slower pace this year compared to last. It is giving us more time to focus on agility training for Navi and Midna, scentwork training for Ember, and overall time at home. (Youngest kiddo is definitely appreciating a break from the crazy). Plans are in the works for a litter this fall so 🤞that everything works out accordingly.

So excited to finally have Midna's win photo from the Memorial Day Cluster! Despite being very out of coat, she managed to get an Owner Handled Group 1 placement and Reserve Best in Show Owner Handled on Saturday.
A big Thank You to Mrs. Jean Pero for seeing my girls' qualities amidst her bikini body and giving her a Group 1 placement and to Ms. Robin Hug for awarding her National Owner Handled Reserve Best in Show.
This win makes me even more proud as I am also her breeder. 🥰

Breed gave Midna Winners Bitch, Best Opposite S*x and Best Owner Handled all 4 days. No points but she doesn't need them and the entry is small so there is no Majors to be had.

Ray took Midna into Rally Intermediate Thursday, Friday, and Saturday earning her RI title. Monday they earned their first leg in Rally Advanced. They also did FastCAT where Midna not only earned her DCAT title but also ran a personal best time of 9.6 seconds. Meaning she hit 21.31mph 😲

I may not yet be where I want to be but I am for sure making steps in the right direction.

Ember has been nominated for Pet of the Year with Pet Partners. This is the non-profit organization's biggest fundraiser. If everyone only donated $5, not only would this help Ember in the competition but it helps Pet Partners continue their work of smiles and healing through therapy animals.
