Summer fireworks are here! If your pup is staying with us on any of the following dates, please keep in mind that fireworks may be heard in the Boise area.
Boise Hawks Fireworks Schedule: 🎇 Friday, July 3 🎇 Saturday, July 4 🎇 Sunday, July 5 🎇 Friday, July 17 🎇 Friday, July 31 🎇 Friday, August 14 🎇 Friday, September 4
If your dog has a history of anxiety around fireworks or loud noises, we encourage you to talk with your veterinarian before your lodging stay to discuss whether anxiety support or medication may be appropriate.
Please also let our team know at check-in if your pup is sensitive to fireworks so we can make note of it in their reservation.

We’re thrilled to share that Idaho Dog Park is entering a new chapter — we are becoming Happy Tails Resort!

While our name is changing, everything you know and love about us is staying exactly the same. We are still the same family-owned business, with the same dedicated team, the same familiar faces, and the same commitment to caring for your dogs like our own.

We want to be very clear: we have NOT been sold, and we are NOT a franchise. This is simply a rebrand that reflects how much we’ve grown over the years.

What started as a simple dog park has grown into something so much more — a place for daycare, boarding, enrichment, and adventure. “Happy Tails Resort” better represents the experience we strive to create every day: a safe, fun, loving home away from home for your dogs.

Over the coming weeks and months, you’ll start to see updates to our name, logo, signage, and online pages. During this transition, you may see both names used:

We're thrilled to announce that the back half of our building is now home to Pet Motion, a canine rehabilitation and physical therapy center dedicated to helping dogs move, heal, and thrive.

Whether your dog is recovering from surgery, managing arthritis, healing from an injury, or simply needs support maintaining mobility as they age, Pet Motion offers specialized therapy programs designed to improve comfort, strength, and quality of life.

This partnership allows us to offer something truly special—a place where dogs can play, stay, be pampered, and now receive professional rehabilitation services, all under one roof.
