‘tis the season for your winter blanket reminder! Not everyone blankets their horse but if you do, please be thoughtful about the blanket you purchased or you’re gifted! There’s lots of great information on the internet for wither relief blankets and fitting a blanket properly. here are some images. I pulled off the Internet to remind you that it happens!! Please be considerate to your horse if he has to live in his blanket, most of the season… it happen faster then your think!
As a Bodyworker I see it frequently in the winter time, especially on the shoulders and the neck. Rremember safety when it comes to fitting your straps or belly bands… A blanket can cause irritated skin, stressed muscles & fascial strain if not properly fitted.
