☀️ With temperatures continuing to rise across the Texas Hill Country, it is important to remain vigilant for signs of heat stroke in pets. Heat stroke is a serious medical emergency that can become life-threatening very quickly, particularly in brachycephalic (short-nosed) breeds such as Bulldogs, Pugs, French Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, and similar breeds that are more prone to overheating.

Please review the signs, prevention tips, and recommended actions outlined below to help keep your pets safe this summer. Even brief periods of heat exposure can be dangerous without proper precautions. 💛🐾
