Equestrian brands want to work with authentic people. Not “influencers”. There’s literally no ROI. This doesn’t mean, “ I’m authentic because I own a horse so they should work with me.” No—Instead, post content about your actual life and what that brand means to you, what it does for you, how it makes you feel. (EX: it means, “I’ve been using (insert brand) and I love how it can go from Street to Stable because as soon as I leave the barn I have no time to go home but I still look put together when I go for coffee with friends”, OR “As a horse girl, “This brand’ makes it so easy to be stylish and the fabric moves with me when I ride and I’m able to focus on what matters while I’m schooling/showing.” You get the point…
WHY THIS MATTERS: Because if a brand is going to work with you, they believe that your audience trusts you and they also believe you already use the product. If they wanted a “commercial” with zero credibility, they don’t need you to do it. Brands TRUST that YOU live, breathe and sweat in their products which your audience has already seen. And giving you PR is basically a handshake or a nod from the brand saying: thank you — we acknowledge you-thanks for loving us. And when your followers see that, it’s more relatable, it’s more shareable, it gets more VIEWS and better conversion.
