The 4th of July is right around the corner, and fireworks can be extremely stressful for many pets. If your dog or cat has a history of noise anxiety, now is the time to plan ahead.

Please call us before the holiday if your pet may need anxiety medication. Our veterinarians may need to examine your pet or review their medical history before prescribing medication, and we want to make sure your furry family member is comfortable before the celebrations begin.

Keep in mind:
🐾 Medications can take time to fill.
🐾 Some medications should be started before the fireworks begin.
🐾 Appointment availability may be limited as the holiday approaches.

Please note that not all medications may transfer automatically. Prescriptions that were inactive, had no refills remaining, or otherwise did not qualify for transfer may not be included in the transition.

I am so excited to offer a mock scent work trial at the end of June, graciously hosted by College Mall Veterinary Hospital in Bloomington, IN! Each dog will be given their own 15 minutes to complete multiple searches. I will have interiors and exteriors set for Novice-Master; this is a great opportunity to practice in a trial-like setting without the pressure and with additional instruction from an experienced handler (me!). I will be using AKC odor. This mock trial is taking place at a veterinary office, and so will have the added benefit of giving your dog a positive, confidence building experience at the vet. I will have adjustments available to make for total beginners as well, so if you want to come just to learn and try your hand while building some confidence at the vet you are so welcome!

Proceeds will help to fund a second major surgery for my sweet Fizzgig.
