Join us at VetCheck Bloomington in keeping your pets safe and stress-free this 4th of July!
Loud noises, fireworks, and parties can be overwhelming for our furry companions — but a few simple precautions can make a big difference.

Essential 4th of July Safety Tips for Pets 🐾
1. Keep Them Indoors:
Fireworks and loud gatherings can frighten pets. Keep them in a quiet, secure area indoors.

2. Update Identification:
Make sure your pet's ID tag and microchip information are current in case they get scared and run off.

3. Create a Calming Environment:
Use fans, soft music, or white noise to help drown out firework sounds.

4. Avoid Party Food & Alcohol:
Many human foods and drinks are toxic to pets — especially BBQ scraps, bones, chocolate, and alcohol.

5. Never Use Fireworks Around Pets:
Even small fireworks or sparklers can cause serious injury or fear-based reactions.

6. Talk to Your Vet About Calming Options:
From calming treats to medication, we can help your pet stay relaxed.

7. Clean Up Firework Debris:
After celebrations, check your yard for hazardous remains before letting pets out.

Stay Safe. Stay Calm. Celebrate Together. ❤️
We’re here for you 365 days a year — including holidays.
