There has been some news circulating about a microchip company, Save This Life, recently shutting down. We, unfortunately, had used this company and their microchip services. There was no warning to this company shutting down. The clinics, shelters, and those who used their microchips found out the same way as everyone else, in the news. Since learning of this, we have been working diligently to resolve the unfortunate misgivings of the microchips we have implanted over the years no longer being registered to a database. We were deeply saddened to learn this as all of you, our clients, put your faith in us to ensure that your furry companion would be reunited with you if anything were to happen.

Moving forward, we will be using HomeAgain microchips. To go about reregistering your microchips, there are many options.

You can register your microchip for free at the following places:

BuddyID is offering free registration for save this life microchips until February 28th.

HomeAgain is offering free registration of those affected by the Save This Life closing as well. Please call the office and we can assist you on how to register your pet with them.

We are sincerely and genuinely apologetic for this miscalculated step in choosing a microchip company that would close down without warning or aid in re-registering your pet. We are doing everything in our power to ensure that we correct this as soon as we can.

As Santa and his reindeer start to prepare for the big holiday that is quickly approaching, we wanted to remind everyone of our holiday hours so you can prepare too. We will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We will be closing at noon on New Year’s Eve, and closed New Year’s Day. Please plan accordingly for your pets’ food and medication needs. We wish everyone a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season!

We can’t believe the holiday season is already here! Just a friendly note, our office will be closed this Thursday and Friday, 11/28-11/29 to show our staff how thankful we are for them and allow extra time with family. If medication refills and food are needed for your furry family member, please give us a call and stop in for pickup.
