Did you know I do more than regular pet grooms? I do breed specific clips! I'm always looking to improve my skills and it's a huge thank you to clients who entrust me with their show pets!
They may give me some brief anxiety but when I get these pictures it was all worth it!

Elise was brought to me yesterday and as I started to remove this matt I made it to a point where I contacted the rescue foster to inform her I feared it was worse than imagined in there and that I didn't feel comfortable moving forward! sedation and veterinarian care would be necessary!

This is mortifying in all of my years as a veterinarian technician and groomer have I encountered such a catastrophe from Matting!
This was so extreme and heartwrentching for this little girl was a darling!

Valentina update shes a full blown mess!
She has made friends with the other cows and stays with the most of the day and meets us for breakfast and dinner! She still loves her brushing and rubs! This has been a fun first experience on the farm!

Valentina has made it to 1 month old!!
This has been a struggle but I believe we are officially on a up hill path from here!
We are in the process of moooving and Valentina approves!

Unfortunately, I am closed on Saturday and Sunday.

I've extended my hours to help accommodate those of you that work later! I'll be offering 4 o'clock and 5 o'clock appointments!

Weekends are for family and farm!
A farm animal we have are Rhode Island red chickens! They are pretty comical to have around and come when called!

They all have some sort of star wars name except the chosen one.

Happy Hood!!

Most dogs with perky ears dislike the blow dryer, because it's easier for air to sneak in! This annoys them and can make them want to move more. I apply the Happy Hood to help keep their ears cover and allow for more comfort while drying!
Wrigly here appreciates his ear muffs even if his face doesn't say it! Such a mellow soul!

Everyone has been asking about Valentina!

Here's an update!

We have been on a roller coaster with her health!
We thought once we made it out of the freezing temperatures we were good to go, but unfortunately, calves are giant sensitive creatures!

We have consulted back and forth with our fantastic veterinarian Dr. Martin at Animal Care Clinic of Wiggins and finally we seem to be on a steady incline!
Please keep your fingers crossed, send good vibes, and prayers our way that our sweet girl continues to improve and that Animal Care Clinic doesn't have to keep pulling our chart 😅
