Meet the Staff 🩺
Crystal is one of our veterinary technicians who has been with us since mid March of this year. She has been in the veterinary field for 9 1/2 years, starting with reception and working her way up to technician. She absolutely loves being a part of pet care and her bubbly and hardworking personality make her a perfect fit. She loves spending time with her family, 3 dogs, 2 grand-cats, going kayaking or canoeing, and being on the river. 💛
Crystal has been an amazing addition to the AHOG team!

Meet Socks, one of our HSSM foster pets! 🐾
What creature comfort is better than a warm, fuzzy new pair of Socks?
Socks is one of HSSM’s longest residents and there is really no reason why. Socks came in as a stray way back in November and although she's the best girl, sadly, no one came to claim her. But their loss is YOUR GAIN! Socks is four years young so she can still keep up with big dogs but she's left that puppy nonsense behind. She is friendly to everyone she meets right away - she's never met a stranger. She is house broken, kennel trained, and well-mannered on a leash. She loves other dogs big or small and kids.

Meet Mischief, one of our HSSM foster pets! 🐾
This handsome 2-year-old Akita/Husky mix is so full of love, and gets along great with other dogs in the play group. He is FULL of energy and needs a home where he can let it all out.
He’s not too fond of cats. Heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and neutered. He loves to be outside and play in the water.

CHEERS TO 10 YEARS! 🎉
We're celebrating AHOG's 10 year anniversary in our current building!
Dr. Mike Anderson started Animal Hospital of Orange Grove in 1995. At the end of August in 2015, he relocated into a newly renovated location just down the street and turned it into the hospital we all now know and love. While he has since retired from practicing medicine at AHOG, we strive to continue to follow his model of core values, vision, and purpose. "Our pets are family too"... always. We cannot express our gratitude to Dr. Anderson for everything he's done to build and nourish this practice.
In June of 2003 Dr. Nikki Palermo joined the AHOG team and is now not only our Managing DVM, but also our most long term, loyal staff member. This hospital would not be the same without her. Her beautiful personality and quality care of her patients makes her both an amazing doctor and manager.
