Gidget is a sweet, blind, half deaf, 17 year old senior citizen that wandered off at 11 o'clock Friday morning. She was fenced in (still don't know how she got out) on a private road just before Seaway Rd. Off of Three Rivers Rd. We think she may have been picked up and someone is holding her and hoping to find her family. They have searched that area and the area around there. They've been to the humane society and check with them everyday. PLEASE..PLEASE..
PLEASE SHARE THIS OVER AND OVER. Her daddie is Michael Dunlow and she has a family that loves and misses her very much. If she isn't in someone's warm home, then she's out there and with the weather coming, she won't make it.

Every time rescue is asked to take an owner surrender- we have to somehow make room on our little raft for that dog. When an owner says stuff like “I don’t have time to give them the best life” or “I have to move” or “they have too much anxiety” it really falls flat because that means if we bring them on the raft, another dog out there in the freezing water gets to die.
Every day in rescue we adjudicate life and death by gate keeping who can get on the boat.
Rescues and shelters are the tiny rescue boats.
The ship is our community at large.
The iceberg is comprised of careless owners, backyard breeders, and a$$hats who won’t spay/neuter.

Michael Marie AKA Honey (Female) is a special needs baby that is is waiting for her loving family to get her happily ever after. She was found with her 2 puppies on the side of the road, living in a culvert in Lucedale. I began fostering them about 6 weeks ago. Her puppies, have since, been adopted. She is to be between 5 and 7 years old. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm and flea preventative. She gets along with other dogs and fine with cats. Cannot be kenneled, she chewed thru a wire kennel the first night she was with her finder. I've never kenneled her and never had to. She is 100% house broken and does not chew on anything she isn't supposed to.
She has limited sight and hearing. If she is sleeping she startles easily and will snarl but never bites. No fast, sudden movements and she's fine. She's been abused and cowers if she thinks you're upset with her. She needs a quieter home without small children and would do better with someone older. A work from home or retired person would be perfect. Any other questions feel free to ask. If you want to meet and visit with her, just gimme a call. If you'd like to foster her, gimme a call.

The Bible says the first time God destroyed the earth by water and he promised to never do that again. (The real meaning of the Rainbow) he went on to say I will destroy it by fire the second time. I won’t even pretend I understand all of the book of Revelation, but I do understand quite plainly that I do wish to spend eternity in Heaven. I have been hearing about the second coming of Christ and the events unfolding for most of my life.
The "Mark of the Beast" Artificial Intelligence, microchips, no cash/digital currency, total government dependency/control. When we are raising a family, working long hours, some two jobs, lots of things go unnoticed or just get ignored. No one can comprehend how bad it will be, but we see it happening, bit by bit, on the news everyday. While the devil is preparing people for the Anti Christ, God is preparing people for the Rapture. I don’t know when the rapture will take place but I know that I’m not planning to be left behind when that trumpet sounds! I also believe right now that God is giving us a chance to turn our lives around and live according to His will. We need to get the Gospel message out! Until the good Lord calls me away from this world to go home, I want to make it clear that I believe in Jesus Christ as the one and only true Lord and Savior. Despite the fact that I am human, and I fail a lot, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
This is the best challenge I have seen on Facebook, so if the Holy Spirit moves you and you’re not ashamed, just COPY, and make this your status update. I’m a believer in God The Father, Jesus The Son, and The Holy Ghost- Amen

I know this is long, read it anyway!!
I stole this from another post because it is what I needed to say thank you to Lyn Pretzsch Powers. I have been blessed to be apart of her life for the last few years. She, unlike so many others, makes time for the one on the side of the road. For the ones that lost their place in their home through no fault of their own. For the ones she has to chase, corner and trap, so she can get them to safety. I have seen her put those babies ahead of anything else in her life, including her family. She spends her money without a blink of an eye for these babies. The unconditional love she shares with the unloveable, unwanted, the big, the small, the hard to adopt always makes me stop and check myself. Am I doing enough, can I do more? She is selfless in her efforts and becomes everything these babies need. Which results in finding them their loving forever homes. She is amazing and I just want her to know that I APPRECIATE HER and how blessed these babies are for crossing her path. Myself included.
SHE IS what rescue really looks like and SHOULD look like.
