It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing that Willow Rock Warriors will no longer be offering therapy at the farm. We are so proud of what we have accomplished and thankful to have provided equine assisted therapy to veterans, first reaponders, and their families.

We will be sending our resources to support two amazing organizations: Platoon 22 and Shoning Stars, both of which provide service to those that have served our community. We want to thank everyone that supported our efforts over the last several years.

Thank You again. This was not an easy decision and we are honored that you were a part of our journey.

We are thankful for those that have served and continue to serve. We salute our own Willow Rock hero, retired Navy Leutenant Mike Turner. Cowboy, as he is affectionatly known, with his equine partner Reba! Grateful for the sacrifice made by Mike and so many others so that we live free.

After our session, Dr. Deb took her first riding lesson. We are always looking to extend and enhance our practice. Dr. Deb is an Eagala certified therapist who is broadening her horse knowledge! Love our team!

This is one of our inspirations for why we do what we do. My little brother, Lieutenant Chris King of Annapolis City Fire Dept. was one of the fire fighters that responded to this boat fire. In true hero fashion, they risked their lives by wedging their fire boat between the fire and pier to minimize damage and risk to others. I’m so proud and a little unnerved by the pictures knowing my brother was in the thick of it but know he wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you to the firefighters that responded.

A boat on the Severn River engulfed in flames nearly crashed into a community pier in Severna Park Saturday afternoon but was blocked by Annapolis firefighters rushing to control the blaze.

Our community - so many of the donations for our silent auction came from local businesses and artists. We are humbled and grateful for everyone that braved the storms to be there with us. Hope y’all had fun!
