It's time for another introduction!
Meet Jennifer, our incredible Clinic Manager here at Maplewood! 🌟 Jennifer has been with us since June of 2020, when we first opened our doors. She joined the team as a CSR, hoping to leave retail behind and finally have nights and weekends off. Little did she know, answering phones and scheduling appointments would lead her to a much bigger journey!

In the (almost) five years since then, Jennifer has gained so much knowledge and developed a deep respect for everyone in veterinary medicine. 🩺🐾 Her favorite part of the job? Building relationships with our amazing clients and patients and witnessing the beautiful bond between them. 💕

Jennifer is beyond thankful for the wonderful team she gets to work with and all the incredible clients and pets we get to care for. 🙌

Fun fact: Jennifer and her husband have known each other since 1st grade, and this year, they’ll be celebrating 36 years together! ❤️ Over the years, they’ve shared a love for Golden Retrievers, and they currently have 3 of their own at home! 🐕

It’s time to formally introduce our incredible team members, and first up is none other than Dr. Matt!

With 30 years in the veterinary field and 23 years of practice, Dr. Matt has developed a special interest in surgery (both orthopedic and soft tissue), oncology, and internal medicine. His passion for vet med started with a local vet in his hometown, who was a true James Herriot-type—caring for both pets and their owners with heart and dedication.

Dr. Matt’s favorite part of his work is building lasting relationships with the pets and owners he serves. He feels incredibly lucky to have such a great team and wonderful clientele to work with every day. One of the things Dr. Matt loves most about his job? The excitement of never knowing what each day will bring in terms of patients and cases!

Fun fact: Dr. Matt can roll his tongue not once, not twice, but THREE times! 😄 Or, if you prefer a different fun fact, he once had a close call with NFL legend Walter Payton—who almost hit him with his car! 😳
