Celebrating Excellence in Mentorship 🌟

We are thrilled to announce that City Line Veterinary Center is the recipient of the 2026 Black Hawk College Award of Excellence!

This recognition highlights our ongoing partnership with BHC's Veterinary Technology program. Investing in students has always been a core value for our practice. To date, we have proudly hired 6 Black Hawk College graduates into our clinic family, watching them transition from eager interns to highly skilled professionals.

Receiving feedback that our environment actively inspires students to pursue lifelong learning is incredibly validating. A huge thank you goes out to our dedicated staff, whose patience, knowledge, and passion make our clinic a beacon for future veterinary professionals.

In tandem with this honor, we would also like to formally congratulate our newest graduate, Morgan Heath! Morgan represents the exact spirit of this award, and we are looking forward to continuing watching her learn and grow in this profession.

Today wraps up Vet Assistant Appreciation Week. We have 8 amazing veterinary assistants who are so vital to our team! They are typically the first medical staff member you encounter at your pets visit. Every day they perform essential tasks, including but not limited to, animal restraint, exam support, hospital maintenance, and client communication. The work they do ensures efficiency and a positive experience for both the clients and the team. We truly cannot operate day to day without the help of our vet assistants! Thank you so much 🐾
