Camera one/Camera Two… notice anything odd with the first two photos? Brown Lop is missing an ear. His child owner put a cute bow on it not realizing it was cutting off his circulation. The parents learned that not only is it very hard to find an exotic rabbit vet in our area, but just how expensive it is. This bunny unfortunately, had to get his ear amputated due to the lack of knowledge and Bunny care education. This is not a shame that family. This is yet another PSA that these things happen and where the heck do you go?! Because news flash: your dog vet doesn’t know about bunnies! This is another PSA that Bunnies are not an easy pet. They need more care than most people realize. This is another PSA that even if you neuter both males that you got a different times it does not mean that they are going to like each other and you cannot just stick Two Bunnies together because the Internet says “all bunnies need a friend”… because the truth is, they don’t… they don’t like each other instantly just because they are both Bunnies! Another long winded paragraph of my uphill struggle that no one usually reads or quite understands the seriousness of the over population of Bunnies. Just because everyone else is in Dog and Cat crisis mode doesn’t mean the other animals aren’t falling by the wayside. The truth with every Rescue right now is that we’re full, but that is nothing new. The truth with every rescue is that there are not enough homes for every single one of the animals in our care. This is a problem that did not happen overnight and it is a problem that’s not going to get fixed overnight. My only goal is to wake up each day and show every single one of these critters my undivided love, attention and care. I am thankful that I am able to do any of this, and I will say it every time, but I actually mean it when I say that I cannot do any of this without you! www.linktr.ee/rebelrescueranch
