worked last week with 6 families donating supplies, food and gift cards! 🐾located in Berlin Center, Ohio
The Ranch has more than just unwanted pets… there are critters here that are healing, ones that will live here forever… that need antibiotics twice a day, eye drops, ear drops, foot cream, fresh bedding… they need attention, brushed, they need love. I do all of that. I have a handful of volunteers now that I cherish with my whole heart. I do not get paid or have paid staff. I raise just enough funds for my budget, their food and now-liability insurance (which has doubled this year) and still have side jobs to pay my bills. I bought the Ranch in 2020, while still working full time, in the middle of a pandemic, not knowing if I would even have a job tomorrow… I bought this sanctuary with my own personal money, this was not a fundraiser or given to me. I worked very hard to keep my credit amazing and saved every penny! When I think about the dream that once was- is now a reality, it still stops me in my tracks, but I also have to remember that I just have to ask for help sometimes. I cannot do this alone, especially at this capacity, the need just keeps growing and unfortunately, there is still only so much room here and there is only one of me! Following, sharing, liking my posts and commenting has actually helped me receive a $25 deposit each month from fb for about three months now just for y’all “interacting”.. so when I say it really does matter, I mean it! Yes, I post my link, hoping for donations and supplies, but I also truly love the support and the friendships that I have made along the way! Past adopters still message me pictures and updates, some stop over with a bag of food-And that truly means more than I will ever be able to express! My wish list Wednesday also includes letting a friend know about me. Let them know I exist, tag them, invite them to like my page! You never know who is looking for a special critter to add to their home! I need to lighten my load or I will not be able to help the next family.
