Oh happy days! It was a sibling weekend here on the farm. And those are the best kind of weekends for us. We had five pens with a pair of siblings, and three pens with three siblings in them!! So thankful dad had the foresight 21 years ago to make our pens extra large to allow siblings to stay together. It is so much less stressful for everybody.
🐾Charlie is finally back on the farm with his new sister Mabel. She is a sweet girl!
🐾Cosmo brought his new sister Annie on her first vacation. She is loving life.
Both boys are doing a great job taking care of their little sisters. Big brothers are the best! Welcome to our kennel family ladies.

Received the kindest text message from a new customer this week. These words made my heart swell and remind us that the extra things we do truly make a difference. 💗💗💗

“I just want to follow up and say Thank you for looking after Charlie for so long and taking great care of him! He came home happy, didn’t lose his voice from so much barking, and truly just seemed calm and not overly exhausted/on edge. It was a relief for us!!

We have historically had great luck with the previous kennel, we weren’t even looking for a new one but heard my co-worker Karen talking so highly about your place. So we were willing to try it and so happy we did!
The little smaller size of your facility is so very appealing, it was so clean when we arrived, the space that Charlie had to run several times in the grass was so great, you and your husband were so friendly and organized!

I feel like all of those factors combined, plus some extras are what contributed to it being a successful stay for him!

Teeny, tiny, peanut of a sweetheart. We definitely won’t be scheduling a playdate with this little girl. Miss Bella is 16 years old and weighs a whopping 6 pounds! She is so calm and quiet. Happy to cuddle and be carried around. And oh those soft and fluffy little ears. She is just adorable. Let’s show this sweet girl all the love! 💕🐾💕

Are we convincing anyone else to get a puppy yet?
I think we need to schedule a play date with Mo and Twister. This new guy is the cutest little thing! He is 5 months old and 20 pounds. What a crazy combination in his DNA. Any guesses? The first one is easy… a Blue Heeler. The second one… a cocker spaniel! Not seeing much Spaniel in him yet, but his size dictates it is definitely there. He is all puppy, all fun and absolutely adorable. Can’t wait to watch him grow up. Please help us welcome Twister to our kennel family.

🦮 Mojito Monday ⛱️

Mo is 15 weeks old today and weighed in at 45.5 pounds. He is consistently gaining 5 pounds per week!! He decided over the weekend that he is a Big Boy and no longer wants to stay in his small gated off area. He drug every single toy and blanket out of there and put them in the kitchen. He’s done being a baby! He does not want to eat his puppy food anymore either. He wants everything the same as his sisters. Slow down little boy. Slow down!

🦮 Mojito Monday ⛱️

Mo is 14 weeks old today, and this is what he thinks of Mondays and the heat coming back! He and his favorite toy, the squeaky chicken, are over it. They are trying to see who does the pose best? We had a check up last week with the vet. He was a good boy and of course they were all in love with him while he was showing off. The vet says he is going to be well over 90 pounds! The way he is eating, I have no doubt!

I say this all the time! It is so important to establish your pups with a kennel. Start young, start now. You never know when you will need a place for your babies to stay. The last thing you want is to be in a stressful situation and then have to leave them for the first time. Even worse, is not having all the requirements in place when an emergency arises. This happened to a different family last week.

Nana and Maisie’s mom is making sure this does not happen to them! She is working hard to set them up for success. She is getting them established and scheduling small stays so they will get used to us and be comfortable when they are ready for their first big trip or if an unexpected event occurs. Nana is young and quite attached to mom, so she needs to learn it is okay to be apart. She needs to have a home away from home. Separation anxiety is a real thing for some pups. Maisie is here to support Nana and help her relax. And they are doing great! We want to welcome these sweet new sisters to our kennel family.

🦮 Mojito Monday ⛱️

Mr. Mo turns 13 weeks old today. He is continuing to grow 5 pounds a week and weighed in at a whopping 40 pounds today! He is finally sleeping through the night. Thank goodness. If you have not had the chance to meet the new “puppy” yet, you better come quick because he is not going to be a puppy for long.
It was brought to my attention this week that he is always touching mom or lying at mom’s feet. Well, he is MY BOY! Don’t know what to tell you all.

Meet Charlie! This guy started his trip very shy and quiet. He has warmed up nicely and runs in and out daily with lots of excitement. He enjoys outside time, the option to be inside or outside whenever he wants, and being spoiled with ear rubs and treats. He is a momma’s boy. I thought mom might just put a cot in his kennel and stay with him. I just love his little mug shot! Please help us welcome Charlie to our kennel family. 🐾💚🐾

Harley wants to wish her humans an amazing wedding day!! They sure got the absolute most perfect weather for an outdoor wedding today. Harley is a sweet and happy girl. Just look at her smile. Mom was so worried because this is a new adventure for her. I would say she likes it here! A calm and peaceful environment makes for a happy and stress free pup. Welcome to our kennel family Miss Harley. Make your nexr trip a longer one. 💗🐾💗

Meet Shep! This boy has such a unique set of markings. You aways have an image in your head about what a new pup will look like based on the breeds. And it is like opening a surprise present the first time they jump out of the car. My favorite feature is the perfect round markings circling his nose. It looks like someone was using a marker to color his face. Shep is here for a quick trip to check things out before his first big vacation with us. Mom was worried. Shep says “I got this!” Welcome to our kennel family young man. See you back soon!
