📍 189 Rash Rd., Berea, KY – ENTER VIA ELLIPSE ST. ONLY

Services offered (CASH ONLY):
Annual shots – FREE
Rabies vaccine – $10
Bordetella – $30
Microchipping – $26.50 (Exact change preferred. If you’d like, extra change can be donated to the Madison County Animal Shelter to help support their work.)

Dogs, cats, and ferrets must be leashed or in carriers.

This is the last vaccination clinic sponsored by the Madison County Health Department for 2025. The event will be held rain or shine! 🌧️☀️

Doggy Day Out is such a treat for our pups! 💛

We’re so grateful for the chance to get them out of the shelter, enjoying fresh air, new surroundings, and one-on-one attention. These outings give us important insight into each dog’s personality outside the shelter, which helps our staff to match them with their forever homes.🏡❤️

The Power of Fostering ❤️

Thanks to a kind-hearted foster, we learned just how wonderful one of our pups was with kids: sweet, playful, and full of charm. That insight made all the difference when she met her future family. She charmed the kiddos with her perfect “sit” and easy leash manners, and the rest is history.

Fostering may not always lead to adoption by the foster, but it often leads to a forever home. We’re endlessly grateful to those who open their hearts and homes to our shelter animals, even if just for a day!

Today we’re celebrating all of the dogs in our community, from those who already have homes to the ones still waiting at our shelter. Every wag, bark, and cuddle reminds us how special these animals are.

If you’d like to TREAT our shelter pups, there are many ways to make their day brighter. You can donate toys, treats, or supplies, or you can join in on Labor Day Pup-cation, which includes opportunities like Doggy Day Out and a Holiday Sleepover. Every act of kindness makes a difference while they wait for their forever families.

Love at First Sight for Juno! ⭐

Earlier in the month, at our Tractor Supply event, one special boy spent the whole day with Juno, walking her, teaching her tricks, and showering her with love. It was clear to everyone: this was love at first sight! 🥹

The family came back Monday morning, just like they promised, and Juno’s tail couldn’t wag fast enough when she saw her boy again! We just know these two are going to grow up to be the best of friends.
